Flushing Central Hotel 88

Location to Flushing-Main subway spot was key. Lots of restaurants to choose from and a raising canes open late. It was always bustling, which made for good people watching. Pretty clean property/rooms, but needs some updates for the price IMO Bathroom needs an update/minor repair. Ice machine was on the bottom floor and it was a small electric ice maker that you’d use for a home, not a hotel. It worked, but it was odd.

The hotel is okay, location is great if you want to be surrounded by Asian food. The towels are very thin and small. The bed is not bad, but if your partner move, the whole bed move 😂

Really decent and affordable stay with proximity to Flushing Main Street station. Only complaint is that the towels were lacking.

2 blocks from E train and shops nearby

Great location with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and a good price for New York. The hotel and rooms are quite dated. Fine for one night, but I wouldn’t stay here for multiple days.

For a budget hotel, Flushing Central was superb. The room, although small, was fresh and clean. The bathroom fixtures were not quite up-to-date, but was in good order with plenty of towels. The area was quiet but situated very close to the vibrant Koreatown. My companion and I felt very safe walking back from the nearby #7 subway after a very late night at the U.S. Open. We would definitely book this hotel again. Friendly and helpful staff.

Tiny room, but very convenient to subway and Chinatown

Not a whole lot of "amenities", no coffee, only tea in the lobby. Bathroom could have been cleaner, shower curtain was dirty. Aside from that the front desk was very helpful and nice and check in and out was fast.

The bathroom in one of our two rooms was not as clean as it should be--especially the shower curtain. But overall, we were comfortable.

The bed was comfortable, the staff was very nice. This is a super simple hotel but so close and easy to get to US Open or Mets stadium. And a straight shot on the subway into time square. We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is like a mini-China town. The hotel itself is across from an old church. It seemed safe. I’d stay there again as it’s a reasonable option for US Open. They only offer hot tea (no coffee). But Starbucks is across the street and lots of food options (although many Chinese food). We found some great local places for food.

The hotel is old and dated, the mattress was terrible with that being said it was clean and fit the need for the price.
