Flushing Motel

Staffs was nice to me. I made the reservation for 2 adults and 1 child but owner wanted to take a chance, and said I need to make extra payment for child. Once I challenged him that I have made the reservation with my child and have the printed copy for my reservation so he couldn't take the advantage.

Bad

I enjoy the comfortable bed and having a refrigerator and microwave is a lifesaver. The front desk was very pleasant and easy to talk to parking was a minimal, but very close to the hotel entrance. It’s a bit of a walk to Main Street flushing but not far

Passable

Parking was available and free. Desk attendant was very helpful. Room lacked the basic measure of cleanliness. There was lots of hair on the floor, and cobwebs in the corners, which means that they don't even vacuum. But the sheets were clean (I think). And there were clean towels. I did not use the shower because there was dirt on the shower curtain that I was afraid would get on me if the shower was used. Luckily, there is a YMCA not far away that provides temporary day passes to take a shower. The woman renting the next room doesn't sleep, as there are "guests" coming in and out all night long. No pun intended. And I killed 4 flies, if that sort of thing excites you.

The on/off switch of the air conditioning was intentionally destroyed so no way to turn it on. I took a picture of it before I went to bed because it was too hot to sleep. When I showed the photo to the front desk, the staff did not seem to be aware of it.

Nothing, except they did refund my second night. It smelled bad and there were mirrors everywhere. It was very creepy.

The duvet covers has a stain looks awful, I got bite in my legs, back I don’t who bite me. Water pressure is very low. Am taking shower that water stop. I waited until water come back up. Location is convenient,

I was able to get a room on short notice and the person behind the desk was helpful. The room smelled like smoke, the bathroom was dirty, and the bed wasn't actually made. It was noisy all night and felt fairly unsafe.
