The staff did not care about privacy!! They just walked into our room using their card at an EXTREMELY vulnerable moment for me and my husband!!!

Elevators are rather ‘tired’. On one of the trip up the doors got stuck. The issue was reported to the front desk.

Room was clean, some of the lighting was more decorative than practical, decent bathroom, view was nice. Didn't use the panoramic rooftop bar in the end as children were not allowed and there was some process you had to follow which, wasn't explained to us at checkin and we were too tired to learn after days out. It was time consuming to get in and out of the island with a car (30 mins to/from midtown Manhattan) but convenient by mtr inc. the cable car.

Beautiful hotel, nice size rooms for an NYC hotel. Super clean, pretty comfortable beds, great view of Manhattan - and the rooftop bar is exceptional
