The staff and the location were incredible. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite dated and could use some serious maintenance and a deeper cleaning. The beds were noticeably worn and sagging, the blinds and curtains were not very clean, and several surfaces in the room were dirty. The bathroom showed significant wear, including water-damaged doors and stained/moldy caulking around the accessible roll-in shower. Even the clean towels had an unpleasant smell, and we found grains of sand on the box spring. Overall, great staff and location, but the condition and cleanliness of the room were disappointing and below what I would expect from a Hampton Inn.

Would not be coming back here. My boyfriend got stuck on the elevator and the staff took their time to get him out instead of being more proactive. The women at the front desk kept staring at him which made him very uncomfortable. Elevators are extremely slow, breakfast is filled with so many people and not enough places to sit.

First of all, staff at check in were great! Laura and Anthony were so helpful! The breakfast was well stocked and never ran out. The place was PACKED though so they ran out of chairs and tables several times. They always had fresh hot water in the day and night for tea. There are 20 floor with 5 rooms on each floor. There are two elevators. You have to wait a long time to get on. We had to take the narrow staircase several times. The front yard had like 5 boxwood planters with dead shrubs in them. Also 1 handheld vacuum was in a planter. The little waiting area had a soiled cushion and threads were shredding on the couch couch.

Location is really good. Subway stations are around the corner. The room was good for the price and clean (not exceptional) Carpets and floors need an update. Air conditioning is good in general, but in-room A/C wasn’t working well… it was either super cold or no A/C at all. There was no point in the middle to choose. Breakfast is a bit chaotic and barely decent.
