Location is excellent. Steps from subway and easy walking distance to the theater district. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room was small but very quiet in the back of the building. View rooms face a busy street. Secured luggage storage. Breakfast decent for sure. Staff very friendly. It’s worn around the edges as it gets a lot of use. Mostly cosmetic.

    Proximity to everything

Location (closeness to mid new york city) It was so small, definitely not a 4 star hotel!!!

My room had automatic air conditioning that maintained a comfortable temperature throughout the day, with the option to switch it off. It also included a mini-fridge, television and en-suite bathroom with a shower. Considering all these facilities and the fantastic location, the price offers excellent value for money. Many of New York’s famous attractions and transport links are only minutes away, including Fifth Avenue, Times Square and Penn Station. Travelling to JFK Airport is also convenient: take the train from Penn Station to Jamaica Station, then change to the AirTrain. The entire journey takes approximately 45 minutes and costs around $11, compared with approximately $90–$100 for a taxi. Overall, I had another excellent stay and would happily return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York City.

Great room and great customer service by staff. Broken tv remote replaced with new remote immediately. Air conditioner was making noise and we asked several times for repair but finally on day 3 of our vacation it was replaced with a new quiet air conditioner unit, otherwise was good hotel experience

Amazing location, good room and bathroom, well maintained. Housekeeping was great. Eating are was nice. BF was ok. The buffet bf had a lot of processed food with a badly set up serving area. There was a lot of guest crowding to get to the food. The receptionist at check in spoke very fast throwing a lot of information at me after a very long journey. She was not very helpful when asked to repeat. Bed was creaky, view was uninspiring, A/c was very noisy. No restaurant.

Staff was very accommodating. They allow me to leave my luggage with them when I arrived early before check in. The room was very clean with amenities such as towels, bath soaps, toilet paper and air conditioner. The location of the hotel is the best part since there is a metro station on the end of the block. 1st floor dining area has everything you need for a quick pick before you go out, in terms of coffee, soda juice and snacks. Breakfast is served for all tenants. ice machine and water is located on every 5th floor. Overall, I had a wonderful experience!

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! I loved the hotel’s prime location, and having convenient snacks available for purchase was a great touch. The free breakfast was fantastic every morning, and the majority of your team was incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout my visit. I want to give special recognition to the concierge who worked the night shift on Thursday. When my phone got soaked in the rain and died, he went above and beyond to help me charge it and find the nearest store to buy a replacement charger. His kindness and attentiveness made my trip even more memorable—he truly delivered some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I really appreciate the fantastic hospitality. Unfortunately, my arrival left a very poor first impression. After experiencing flight delays and getting caught in a sudden NYC downpour on my way to the property, I walked into the lobby completely soaked. Instead of a warm greeting or even basic empathy, the front desk staff seemed visibly annoyed by my presence. It felt like I was being lumped in with people taking shelter outside, and I was checked in with a noticeably cold, unwelcoming tone. When a guest arrives exhausted, delayed, and drenched from bad weather, a friendly demeanor and a warm welcome go a long way. While the rest of the stay and several other team members were lovely, management should address how the front desk handles guest check-ins during chaotic weather days.
