Very close to the subway and near shopping. Great location

Check in and check out was seamless. Breakfast and bag lunch prep was second to none. Coffee all day was amazing.

The location is good.

The location is great. The staff at front desk was super helpful.

This hotel is fine if you truly plan to just drop in and sleep because the rooms are very small and there no onsite amenities. Free breakfast was good and definitely a perk!!. The only true complaint is that the doors to the bathroom do not seal. You can hear everything and you can also see through the cracks. Kinda awkward, even with family.

The hotel provided a relatively small but adequate and clean room in a convenient location. The AC system did not work properly – it kept cycling on and could not be turned off even after the room was freezing - and neither housekeeping staff nor the hotel technician were able to resolve the problem; the AC was finally shut off completely (a less-than-optimal solution) by a front desk staff member. The room telephone did not work, as I discovered when trying to report the malfunctioning AC system. WiFi worked well, and the early check-in was appreciated. Breakfasts were reasonably good.

We had trouble with the keys to one of the rooms from the start. Three times we went down to have the keys reprogrammed on the 1st day. What we learned later this was a problem throughout the hotel not just our room. Once we got into our room, the air conditioning wasn't working properly. NYC was in a heat wave over 100° every day we were there. It took 3 days to get it fixed (our last full day in the city). The rooms were clean but furnace old and the staff came every day which was nice since nit all hotels have that service since Covid. The breakfast which was included was fine. A different choice of eggs option, sausage, 1 day there were potatoes, yogurts, pancakes, etc. The coffee is brewed fresh with each cup which was great (careful, it was extremely hot when first brewed). The staff on the whole were friendly and helpful except one young lady when we first checked it. If she had mentioned the issue with the keys, (that it was a problem), it would have been understandable). Anyway, looks like the hotel is being remodeled so hopefully in the future it will be a better place to stay. Carpets in hall were stained and buckled. Bathroom door hard to close. BTW,it is blocks away from Times Square!

Central location. Easy walk to Penn Station. Great Bagels and deli next door. The hotel breakfast had a variety of food items. Front desk was very helpful and even offered to extend our check out time.

The staff was both gracious and helpful. One even helped me get an earring on that I couldn't do myself. That's great customer service!

We booked a city view and it did not disappoint! We had a beautiful view of the full Empire State Building from our room. The room was small, but adequate and comfortable. Nice big shower. Sliding door to bathroom was really hard to push. Bed could have been more comfortable, but we were so tired each day from all the exploring that we slept like rocks anyways. Breakfast was okay. Good selection of hot and cold choices. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We were really grateful for the luggage storage. Great location for subway access, food, and bars. The Parlour next door was delicious and the Ragtrader bar next to that had a great vibe and music in the basement. All in all, would stay here again. Great choice for a couple or single person who wants to be close to everything.

I wanted to give this place a good review, mainly because of the location, but there are just too many things wrong with this place. Looks like the maintenance is lacking big time, with wallpaper peeling, leaking shower doors and drawers that won't stay closed. The carpet in the hallways and in the room was dirty and in need of some love. The leaking shower door was a big problem, every time one of us had to shower, the bathroom floor would flood, we kept having to use our regular towels to keep the floors clean. We finally complained about it and they sent the maintenance guy to look at it, but he said he didn't have replacement gaskets to fix the problem. This place is overpriced, not sure if it's because we came during the world cup and the shortage of hotel rooms made it so expensive, but this is a room that should be in the low $120s on a good day, we payed over $300/night. Luckily we didn't spend too much time on the room, we mainly showered and slept there, otherwise we would have hated it even more. Pay extra and stay at a different place.

We were traveling to NYC at a time when the prices for hotel rooms were high so finding a reasonable rate was a priority. Without SA
