Hyatt Place New York Midtown South

The hotel room was fine, staff was friendly and helpful, but elevators were not working. On day of check in only one was working which was fine, but on our day of checkout none were working so my elderly relatives had to go down the stairs from the 25th floor, no other option was offered. And another couple that was with us on the trip had to go down the flight of stairs carrying their 50lb luggage. This was an unforgettable experience and unacceptable.

Had a great time here! It’s hard not to mention how affordable a nights stay is, for the price we got I was honestly expecting to put up with some annoying details but everything was great, even the breakfast was very good. Room was clean and nicely temperature controlled, all staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

One of the elevators was not working, they will be working on elevators until the beginning of next year, I would not recommend staying until then.

Nothing It is unbelievable to pay more than €200 per night and then have to wait around 10 minutes for the elevator every single day. The elevator was broken, and even after six days, it still hadn’t been fixed. The whole situation was chaotic! The breakfast area was extremely crowded, and the common areas were dirty and poorly maintained. For the price we paid, this level of service and maintenance is simply unacceptable.

Locatin war great very near many touritic attractions of Manhattan New York, like Empire State Building, Broadway, Times Square etc, room was very good spacious, comfortable and very clean, the breakfast in general was good, may be breakfast need some improvements in adding some more variety. The Wifi Hotel Internet wasn't good all the time, during a cosiderable time during my stay the Wifi hotel intertent didn't function.

Great location, clean and comfortable room. Decent breakfast. The service was top notch, especially Luis in the breakfast service staff. The elevator being in repair was a big inconvenience but they gave us a low floor which helped access our room readily. Would definitely book again for the right price.

Clean, comfortable room walking distance from Moynihan. Last-minute booking. One of two elevators was out--but Josh the elevator operator was a ray of sunshine.

The staff was wonderfully kind, particularly Josh, who made the elevator issue a non-issue. One elevator was down during my stay.

Street was noisy even after mid-night. The noise can be heard in the room.

Loved the location, and the size of room was great compared to another similar priced NYC hotel we stayed at. One elevator of 2 was being maintained during our stay and the waiting time was LONG but in fairness they warned well in advance about this. Breakfast was simple but nice. I felt it was a bit expensive but overall we had a great stay.
