This property is a gem. The location is literally a one minute walk from Macy’s Herald Square, a five minute walk to Bryant Park and ten minutes from Times Square. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The front desk staff is welcoming and helpful. We have stayed here several times and it can’t be beat. There are tons of restaurants within a ten minute walk including the entire vibe of Koreatown that is four blocks south.

The guy who checked me in was so friendly and professional. The entire hotel is very clean, and my room on the 16th floor was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a convenient hotel in Manhattan.

This is a clean hotel. There appears to be 5 rooms per floor and renovated within the past 10 years. The wall art makes the room feel bespoke to NYC. The bathroom size is similar to a 1 bedroom apartment in a normal city (there are other ny hotels much smaller) with shower. The room has a new ac unit that is very quiet and works well. The bedding and pillows are clean. To keep economical no fridge or microwave in the room - and only a stool for sitting at a pull-out desk. WiFi is reasonably fast, no complaints. I got a back side room to be more quiet. The sound isolation between rooms not the best.

It's a convenient location close to Penn Station. The hotel charges $5 per bag if you want to leave the bags at the hotel to explore the city either before check in time or after check out time. I find this practice of charging paying guests for keeping the bags for a couple of hours quite distasteful. This policy is also not clearly indicated on the website or the Expedia listing page. Other than that, the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Good location, nice staff, clean and comfortable room. Paying $5 dollars to store luggage. This has never happened at other hotels.

The hotel was super close to Times Square and in walking distance to other attractions. The staff was super nice and very helpful!!!!! Our room was nice, the bathroom ceiling fell in twice but was fixed with urgency!

All of the front desk staff were so kind and helpful, from the sweet girls who checked me in to the man on night shift who gave me an extra hour to check out when I couldn’t sleep. Thank you! I will be back

The hotel is fine for a one or two night stay if one is just looking for a clean, safe, but no frills stay in NYC. The staff were friendly, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped with a good shower and the location is great. Just be aware that some very basic amenities are missing: there is no coffee in the room, and they charged to store our luggage on the day we left (this is the first time we have ever experienced this). But overall, the price was right (especially given the high prices of hotels in NYC) if you don't mind little inconveniences like these.

The hotel charges $5 per bag for storage - other NYC hotels were free.

The location is excellent and very convenient, and the staff are quite friendly, though service can be a bit slow. However, for a 3-star hotel, the quality of the towels was unacceptable. They were very old, rough, and had visible dark stains from previous use, even though they had been washed. I hope the hotel management pays more attention to these hygiene details in the future.

Great location. Room was comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating and gave me many options to do an early check in and a late check out I appreciate how flexible best western is with their check-in and check out policies though you do have to pay for them. I wish I could be more satisfied with the room I was in. I was not a fan of the wallpaper and I couldn’t properly use the closet because the ironing board was positioned so awkwardly that as soon as I opened it, it came tumbling out. I almost hurt my foot. I wish I would’ve had the opportunity to have my room properly cleaned, though I was in during the hours, where housekeeping occurred, I expressly put the please maintain the room tag on the door, and no one ever came, which led to my room having more trash in it than I would’ve liked. I also found the shower door a little bit awkward, and there were stains on the walls presumably where someone recently spilled something. I would consider best Western for my stay in the future, but I also may be interested in seeing what other hotels have to offer.

The service was amazing and the rooms were very clean. Also the location is very convenient.

The staff play games with you and there’s not always a level of honesty
