When I booked my reservation with detailed fees will be be charged of $158.33, but later I received email said that pay extra of $34.42 and temporary hold $100 each day to ensure my damage to the room. This temporary hold of $100, it's okay but other extra of $34.42 I am not happy. Why didn't show in the first time? So I can think it's is fair and affordable. Also, they not provided toothbrush and toothpaste.

Excellent water pressure in the shower, but temperature options were hot and very hot. Even the bathroom sink was like that. Front desk was very responsive and sent someone right away to fix it, but in order to keep the water somewhat cooler, I would’ve had to keep it running. I made do, but taking a shower was tricky. Room was clean, elevators moved pretty quick! Location was between 42nd/Times Square and 42nd/Bryant Park subways, which was super convenient. Very pleasant staff!

Perfect location by Times Square and short walk to Broadway Shows! Nice smell as you walk in the main doors off the street and breakfast in the lobby area was convenient and good. Rooms are small but that’s expected for the price. First room we were given was in need of plumbing repairs and was very noisy next to the elevators so we requested another room and was told no. We returned to the front desk later and received a yes from the manager whom we really appreciated —she was great and was quick to respond and moved us to another room which was on a higher floor and seemed the same size but in better condition and didn’t smell like weed. Beds are very hard which is uncomfortable to us but maybe some people prefer the firm mattresses and the location and price and some Tylenol helped to make it a win/win. I am a Hilton rewards member so I would probably stay here again but I would love to suggest softer mattresses. The views from the upper floor windows are amazing!

Todo bien. Lo unico que no me gustó s que pedí agua y no la llevan a la habitación. Hay que bajar a buscarla

Griffin was so helpful in directing us to a great restaurant and how to get around on the subway. I would definitely come back to this hotel. We could see the Times Square ball from our room.

I love the proximity to Times Square and Broadway theaters. About 12 minute walk to Penn Station. The hotel itself is small but has it charm. I booked the times square view room, but got no view lowest floor very small room. I left right away and requested the room I actually booked. They changed it right away. So that was nice. During checkout I noticed I was charged twice for hotel taxes, but front desk personnel fixed it. So overall good stay with small hiccups.

The shower was full of mold...we finally got the staff to replace the rubber bottom of the shower door, which they acknowledged was terrible. There was very little water pressure in the sink. One day of our stay room service informed us that they would not be cleaning our room. They gave no reason why but just didn't do it. The air conditioning was impossible to control. No matter what temperature we set it to, it either was way too warm or too cold. We spoke to the staff repeatedly about these problems but there was very little they could or would do. They told us that the Hilton Garden Inn is not managed by Hilton but rather by a third party manager. Not sure what that has to do with anything. We will never stay at a Hilton Garden Inn again and we would advise anyone else not to do so as well.

To be such an expensive room it had mold all over the walls in the room and the bathroom. The AC leaked soaking the floor and getting our clothes wet. The only positive was the location.
-
Everything was great! The location made it easy to walk anywhere uptown and the subway is just around the corner. The food at the restaurant was good, and the people were all very kind. Will definitely stay here again the next time we go for a visit.

Easy access to times square

Love the location and amenities. Don’t love the sales person in the lobby peddling bonus points and future stay deals.

Perfect location…. Very clean. Loved the bar. Breakfast was amazing!!!!! Housekeeping was lazy!!!!! Did not want to grab a duvet to place on my bed after she finished making it…. She said there wasnt anymore. She lied.. I’m in hospitality myself. Had to go to the front desk to get a duvet on my bed. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable…….
