Amazing experience. The staff were efficient and really lovely. The rooms were very clean. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Location is excellent. Close to subway. Walking distance to a number of sights. Staff weren’t very friendly or helpful. The city was turning the water off to the property and we were informed of it only shortly before. Communication was very poor. Room cleanliness was average. It wasn’t serviced one day, and we struggled to get fresh towels.

The rooms are super-spacious and the bathrooms lavishly sized by New York standards. The beds are wonderful. The location is brilliant for midtown and Times Sq - but that also comes with the noise of Times Sq… The noise! My room was on floor three and the New York City street noise is relentless.. in fairness, I suspect higher floors are somewhat better.

The hotel is exceptional. We booked a terrible alternative hotel that we had checked out of early before finding The Knickerbocker. The front desk staff were brilliant, and upgraded me. The facilities are beautiful and the food - both room service and breakfast was oustanding. The only thing that could have made it a 10/10 was if it had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We missed this as we were on international time zones and were always awake very early.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, her attitude toward us was rude, cold, and unwelcoming. She did not use basic polite expressions such as “please” or “thank you,” and her manner made us feel uncomfortable from the beginning. We tried to overlook it and gave her several chances because we did not want to judge her based on one interaction, but unfortunately, the same behavior continued every time we dealt with her. What concerned us most was that we felt we were being treated differently, and this made us wonder whether there may have been a discriminatory or racial element to the way she treated us. We do not make that statement lightly, but her behavior made us feel singled out and unwelcome. My wife was especially affected by the experience. She is sensitive, and the way we were treated left her very disappointed and upset. Because of this, we are now reconsidering whether we would stay at this hotel again. Aside from this issue, we genuinely liked the hotel. It was nice, clean, comfortable, and we were happy with everything else. That is why this experience was especially disappointing. We hope management will take this complaint seriously and look into the matter.

Great hotel with great staff. Right at Times Square. Roof top was nice but closes too early. Food was excellent. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was great with great shower.
