staff is great and this is my third stay in three years.

This place is a dump… smells like curry from the indian restaurant… hallways are barely wide enough to get a suitcase through. I tried to cancel the second night stay 1 hour into our stay and they said to come back tomorrow morning to cancel… the person the next day said they couldn’t cancel because it was the day of. Do not stay here it is old and noisy… on the one night we stayed we were woken up by noisy people in there rooms…

I was very surprised by the uncleanliness of the room, compared to other Holiday Inn hotels I’ve been.

Room was clean, there were many flaws but great for a room to sleep in. Staff were nice but could be more attentive. The hotel is quite run down, patches of carpet ruined, bathroom had black mould and the air con has many issues. Maintenance man came up to help me with my air con after it started making an unusual sound but he couldn’t speak English so there was a barrier there and problem was unresolved. It soon sorted itself the next day but slept the night without air con and in 25 degree heat, was not ideal. Really strong sour smell coming from reception and lobby area, very off putting but thankfully it does not transfer to the rooms. Great location and accessible to many different attractions and food places and easy to locate to and from the subway. It is a very safe and secure hotel, great for a solo traveler (especially female!), the area surrounding the hotel is quite clean, quiet in the evening and overall very safe. On the whole, it is very basic and gets the job done if you’re not asking for much. Rooms have their own iron + hairdryer which is excellent. Very expensive for what it is, but overall, decent enough for New York!

The lady at the front desk was very rude, so it started off bad. The room wasn’t very clean, just the entire place was kind of dirty. Plus the tv had limited channels.

Poor stay, rude front desk staff, breakfast is a scam as it's not provided by holiday inn and you're given a $17 voucher. Avoid this place!!

Clean room , priced right, good location

The rooms are really small and not well maintained. It was not easily accessible via car, I had to carry my luggage since we were not to unload in front of the hotel. The one staff I interacted with was not pleasant and down right rude. The AC was not cold and extremely loud. Overall, it was not a very pleasant stay and would not ever stay at that location again.

The value The location was hard to find driving as the streets was closed. The room was right next to the elevator -

Rooms were clean, although a little dated. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion are provided. You also receive a welcome bag with a snack and a couple of bottles of water. Location is extremely convenient to many subway lines and plenty of food options. Good price for a stay in NYC.

The hotel was clean and safe, and as advertised. The checkin process was fast and easy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There was a coffee maker, a safe, and hairdryer in the room. I don't think there was a gym or pool, or many frills like that, but it did the job.

Location only The worst value for money imaginable. A poor choice compared to other NYC options. Nosey air-conditioning,bRoom toilet wasn't working, the shower was leaking, the corridor was smelly, and the receptionist wasn't friendly. I would never return to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. Much better choices in NYC for this price level.

I like the Location - half a block from my job. And great location for getting to the Airports via car service.

I had a one night stay over Labor Day weekend. The hotel is convenient to the subway. The hallway was narrow and the room was somewhat small. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no refrigerator in the room and the ice machine was on the 2nd floor. I would stay here again. The front desk staff were helpful and granted us a late check out. This was a positive experience.
