Picture seemed a lot better than actual room

The whole staff was amazing and so helpful. They went above and beyond to help accommodate all of our needs! I will definitely stay here again!
-
We would recommend this hotel for it's convenient location to most major attractions. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. There was a variety of restaurants and food options and endless shops. Access to transportation was easy..The space was clean, comfortable with friendly, helpful staff.

And BEWARE there is mandatory $30 amenity fee that I wasn’t informed about prior booking when I wouldn’t even use any of the amenity. I was glad that I was staying for one night only.

It was decent.

We were given a room in a separate building and were never informed of the different areas and amenities in the hotel. The staff was not very friendly. It is a good area, that was the positive to staying here.
-
It was a nice hotel, good for couples. They even have a little restaurant, would def recommend 100% ( also near the Empire State Building)

Lovely hotel , clean rooms, safe neighborhood and staff is accommodating and friendly!

The place is run down, everything is old, shower is impossible to use. A/c Smells nasty, bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The ice is ON the ROOF! Very unsafe area with dogs roaming up there. Impossible to open the balcony. Even the Balcony view was terrible. Not worth the money, do not book this disgusting hotel.

The best thing from this hotel is the location and you have the option to book a room with a kitchen (you have to bring your salt and olive oil), everything else is questionable. There are no amenities, it's a very small lobby and elevator, there's no much room to move, you have to remain them to bring you water and towels, you have to pay extra for a late check out, in my opinion the air conditioner isn't cold enough. The shower was leaking.

The pull out bed was a cot at best, and part of it wouldn’t stay up. The drywall. Needed repair and the AC didn’t work at all. Thankfully I moved to another room. That said the room service did a good job cleaning up every day. Won’t be staying here again.

Also the room we were given was right above the noisy restaurant and terrasse, not very practical with a young child. Overall the hotel is OK; the big plus is the location, it's central and you can walk everywhere.

clean room, bedding and towels Stove was handy for brewing coffee Unfriendly and unwelcoming receptionists (except the lady working day shift) Check in was as enjoyable and smooth as a wisdom tooth extraction The hallways smell of damp and chemicals. Rubbish and dirty towels were scattered all about most of the times I went through. The room is missing many essential details such as hooks on walls and a place to stow the decrepit ironing board. No rubbish bin in the kitchenette ? No cleaning utensils no paper towels no tea towels - there was a few pots and pans but they looked unusable to me - scrapped and sticky Toaster has also seen better days The room though functional is not cozy and I did not think the bed was comfortable (too soft for my liking) The ac is a relic from the 1960s it’s quite amazing to see this machine still functioning It doesn’t have a thermostat - hi cool - lo cool and heat- if you plan on sleeping with this thing on bring ear plugs Also - beware - as other have mentioned the noise levels in the balcony are intense Most of the staff I came across hardly made eye contact never mind say hello The man working the afternoon evening shift is a clear case of burnout - Not only with me but while waiting for the elevator, I had the displeasure of witnessing his passive aggressive interactions with other customers. perhaps consider a back office career shift ? I’m aware that this place is cheaper than most in the area- but the aforementioned details shouldn’t be compromised on I wouldn’t recommend this place

Not the best, not the worst

Ideal location in midtown Manhattan with easy access to Subway. Booked a King room with kitchen as we were traveling with children. Room was adequate, bed was comfy and basic kitchen worked well for us. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Limited window/fresh air but that is understandable in NYC. Aircon worked well but can feel a bit noisy. The location makes up for slightly dated room. Overall good experience.

elle's they should pay people to stay there

I absolutely loved this stay! Right next to so much!
-
Very clean room, the rooms are a bit small but nothing dramatic. I wasn’t bothered by the noise outside and the staff was very nice and helpful. Very well located and close to many restaurants and subway stations.
