Helpful staff, but my room key didn’t work in the lift so I had to be escorted to my room

Tiny. But who stays in the room while in NYC? Super helpful staff. Left my bags since my room wasn’t ready early- came back and they were magically in my room! So happy not to have to lug them around!! Super friendly staff.

The Staff was kind .

Enjoyed my stay. There were little luxury touches like bags being brought to the room, slipper and robe provided. The cafe next door had good drinks and pastries (enjoyed the cardamom bun). My only gripe was check in.. I attempted early check in, room wasn't available which is fine, even expected. BUT this was probably the first time i wasn't offered to start the process (just check in) so i could be contacted when the room was ready. Even when i asked, they said they couldnt take my info until the room was ready. I had to call later. Besides that, a fine stay.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the location was GREAT. Easy walk to Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, and everything else Midtown has to offer!

Locked out of my room for two nights, constant loud banging on the lower levels from the gym next door. Location was wonderful with the subway right down the block. The room was clean and cool. But the staff seemed a little off the entire stay.

Do not stay here. AC didnt work. Staff was unfriendly and rude. Hit us w destination fee taxes etc on top of that. Charged us for tequila that we did not drink. Beware!

The staff was excellent and the hotel condition and service was great

Great location and a beautiful hotel overall. The only downside for me was that the bed and pillows were a bit too firm. Guests should be aware that some rooms face the courtyard and receive very little natural light. If you’re traveling solo, I highly recommend the Queen Room — it’s small but beautifully designed, cozy, and absolutely worth booking.

Staff - everybody was very polite and cheerful. The room`s size (it was really small), it was dark inside and the view was to a brick wall.
-
Noise, room facing towards the street

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Rooftop was nice and the lobby was spacious. Great selection of channels (cable). The doors could use silencers or bumpers to stop them from slamming.

Shockingly quiet, comfortable bed, and exactly what I was hoping for for an accomodation in NYC. Very close to the subway 6 line so made it very easy to get to. The price shown on Booking was about $795, and after everything is said and done, it was over $900, so I wish pricing would be more transparent and not added as a 'destination charge'. Just be up front and you'll save so much more in frustrations. I saw it in line at check in that people were shocked to find it much more expensive because of an additional $25+ daily 'fee' added to the booking.

Love the room, love the staff not a lot of closet space but I was cheerfully provided with extra hangers - as many as I asked for and that worked ok location can’t be beat. No need for cabs subway entrances steps away from the building walking distance to great diners, drugstores, restaurants, etc. Should I go back to New York, thisis the place I’d wanna stay.
