Hotel Alameda Highline

The room was only being restocked with coffee and towels .The floor was never sweeped .The lemon water at the lobby was never fresh .The staff was not friendly nor helpful.The property felt more like a hostel ,not a hotel .

That was the best shower I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The room was so cute. Small but fit our needs perfectly. Location. Location location.

The location is very convenient and the room was clean. However the shower does not have privacy, the glass is see through. Other than that, everything was good. The staff was really helpful.

The mini room is small but it’s perfect if you plan to be out during most of your trip. Was unaware of the $200 holding fee so just be aware of that when you check in, you get it back at the end of your stay. I enjoyed the rooftop bar which has a perfect view of the Empire State Building.

There was constant, all night music or singing from midnight to at least 9 am on a Wednesday night. Horrible

Stayed for one night. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Allowed me to check in early. Hotel is very clean. Sing get to use my drinks vouchers but nice touch.

Good location

There was one staff person that was so nice. She answered the phone and was the most helpful, when my flight came sooner than expected. The rest of the staff, pretty rude. Like trying to buy a redbull, no idea there was a computer to the right. Or the bar tender man with dreads, when I asked for creamer, told me I’d be drinking it black today. But the thing that sucked the most? A pipe must have broken in my room from under the bath tub, the last night. Since, the blanket is closer to the floor, it soaked everything up like a wick. It appears it happens a lot in this specific room. I mentioned it and they only took $30 off and gave me a drink ticket at 11am lol, for my stay. So, if you get room 445 just kindly ask for not one in that row. Looks like the other side also breaks often. But ease of use, a close place to stay to some things. Homeless community is quite large on this street, too. There was a great Italian deli around the corner. Was thankful to have a room for my event down the street but was not thankful to wake up to an entirely soaked bed. Can say I will not travel back to this one. I’d give it a 3 star. Also, so many extra fees added at the end $160 (well, minus $30)

Great location. Great bar on premises. Rooms are small but well appointed.

Pleasant

Location Location Location. It was perfect for what we needed to do, cutting down on time and Uber charges My wife has a bad back so she would have preferred the bed being higher. The bed was comfortable though. That was pretty much it

Bathroom are exposed

Location. The lady working in the front desk. The electronic blinds did not work so I was not able to darken my room. No refrigerator, no glasses to drink water out of the sink. The air conditioner was inadequate and never got the room properly chilled.

The hotel has a great atmosphere and the staff were all very kind and made the experience better.

Good location Sleeping on the floor. Platform bed. Not good for older people.
