Hotel Seville Nomad, in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt

Room was in great condition and felt very cozy. All staff was very friendly and made you feel welcomed.

Great location, friendly staff.

Overall I felt this was a nice place, my only issue was that the room didn’t get as cool as I would’ve liked. Especially when outdoor temps were 90+ degrees

Location was great. Upkeep of rooms was poor. Smells and sights poor.

This hotel was in a great location and every person we encountered was so nice. The room was spacious and comfortable and even had an umbrella in the closet ~ which we did end up using one morning. My only complaint is that they filled the fridge with snacks and drinks that you had to pay for ~ we needed the space for leftovers :). Filling the mini bar should be a choice not a given.

Shower Bathtub in the room had a rusted bottom. Rooms were a bit dated. Front desk staff couldn’t care less to arrange an early check in considering I got there at 9 am. I know check in is at 4 pm, however they said multiple times they would accommodate an earlier check in and again was given attitude when asking for updates and when they actually gave me the room at 3:30 like thy did me a favour getting it before 4

Well located and well maintained property. Rooms could use a bit more light. We could hear our neighbors through the connecting door all night. The restaurant closes at 10am though we were told 10:30am for breakfast on Sundays with no brunch. Nice hotel for work, not one for fun.

I do have a couple of small critiques: coffee was available downstairs during my first stay in June and not the second two months later. Not sure why this is. Happy hour wine used to be available everyday according to reviewers but apparently only available on Sundays now. That’s a shame. The Kimpton next door offers wine daily. But Seville is more competitively priced, so maybe we’re saving money in the end :). Last, I received a message thru Expedia before check in about registering my Hyatt points. I did not see the message and when I asked at check in whether I could register my points they said no because I booked thru Expedia. Seems to be some inconsistency there. Maybe I’ll reach out to Hyatt to rectify…. I do adore this hotel despite my quips and will definitely be coming back. The value is incredible and I didn’t think such friendly service existed in NYC until now.

The rooms and staff was very helpful but my bathroom door was stuck but everything besides that was very good.
