Fantastic location near subways and plenty of restaurants!

Location was fantastic - within walking distance from Times Square, Madison Square Garden, lots of restaurants and subway stations so it is easy to access NYC. Room was as expected: everything one would need (plus a large fridge) and a clean bathroom with a nice shower. The hotel is nothing fancy, but if you just need a good value bed and bathroom in a great NYC location, then this is perfect. Also, the Whole Foods across the road is ideal for saving money on food compared to going out and having a fridge and microwave in the rooms give you more options. The bed was fine but it was quite small for a hotel bed. The AC worked but could be quite loud when it did, but this was better than not having any at all! Having to pay $5 per bag to store luggage is poor form, especially as they aren't exactly secured in a special room.

Excellent location, you can easily walk everywhere. The bed was not very comfortable, the room was quite small and in the mornings there was a lot of noise from birds close to our window.

Great location and does the job if you’re going to be out and about all day. No frills but great stay. Housekeeping did superficial cleaning.

The Hotel is super clean. We had room cleaning everyday. The location is fantastic. They have a receptionist 24/7, which makes the luggage deposit easy. The bed was super comfy. Plus: there is a private bathroom, with linen and toiletries included. They also have an hairdryer and an iron. Everything was perfect

Even though the rooms are a little small, it was all clean, well distributed, large and comfortable bathroom. The cleaning staff was a bit rude knocking the door really hard to clean the room up while I was still in there. I didn't see any vending machines and of course there's no room service. But there's a Whole Foods a few steps away so you can buy water and snacks. Also, the lack of a safe bothered me a little.

Excellent value for downtown New York City. Terrific location, 15min walk from Penn Station where Amtrak delivers you into the heart of NYC and just 5m walk from the 28 Street subway station. For a bonus, a multilevel Whole Foods supermarket has just opened up over the road. Staff were really helpful. Hotel27 LuxUrban is one of those great midrange boutique hotels. Being really picky, the AC was a bit loud - but all hotel ACs are a bit loud.

Location was perfect in central Manhattan. No breakfast, but there is a good supermarket on the other side of the street, and several restaurants nearby. Various subway stations 1-2-3 blocks away. Staff is not particularly friendly, but correct. Room is simple, clean and functional. You have everything you need.

There was an issue with the hot water and the heater / air conditioning was noisy as well as the street . No tea pots in the room and need to pay 5 usd to leave the luggage .

The room had a microwave and a fridge, but no cups or utensils, which made them hard to use. Also, while the shower had great water pressure, the water leaked outside the shower area every time, which was a bit annoying.

Location in the middle of Manhattan with several subway stations nearby. Madison Square Park is just around the corner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean room with fridge and microwave. Charged luggage storage at 5 dollars per piece. 25 dollars for early check in while the room was available already anyway.
