Great place friendly staff beautiful room

Amazing stay. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful unique rooms that create a one of a kind stay. Very nice location as well and relatively close to all the best spots. One of the best hotels in New York!

A fabulous "stay-cation" at this beautiful hotel. The decor is just lovely with a mix of orient-influenced wallpaper and interesting pieces of furniture in the room and in the lobby. The staff were plentiful, friendly, professional and highly competent (with a special thank you to the doormen and concierge). We had 2 breakfasts and a dinner at the wonderful on-site restaurant Cafe Carmellini. The food was very special, with multiple interesting choices, and with the ability to cater to individual dietary needs. And the service was excellent!. A final mention that the location (28th and Fifth Ave) made travel within the city quite convenient and gave us the opportunity to walk to Madison Square Park (24th and Fifth) -one of our favorites - as part of our daily routine. This is now our go-to choice for hotels in the City.

I really can’t say enough about the entire staff from the moment we checking until to the end. This Hotel has One the most beautiful restaurant with fantastic service and food. I truly loved my room . The maid was keeping the room clean and paid so much attention to little details that my wife and I cared so much about. . Five star and Fantastic breakfast and dinner!!! All the waiters staff very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Because of their extraordinary service, we were able to focus entirely on celebrating and enjoying our events rather than worrying about logistics. They made every aspect of our trip feel seamless, allowing us to be fully present for the special moments that brought us there. The level of hospitality was truly outstanding, and it's clear that creating an exceptional guest experience is at the heart of everything they do. We left feeling genuinely cared for and incredibly grateful. I would absolutely stay at the Fifth Avenue Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

GORGEOUS hotel, one of the best I’ve stayed in… and I’ve been all over the world! Highly recommend for sophisticated travelers looking for some whimsy while in New York. Cannot say enough positive things about the staff, the property, and the rooms. I’ll be back!

Rooms are small but this place is amazing. Before you even walk into the hotel, there are friendly smiles and someone to attend to your arrival. The service is some of the best I have seen as a frequent traveler. Great amenities, hotel is beautiful, bar is beautiful and their attention to detail is impressive. Thank you 5th avenue team for your hospitality. I truly enjoyed the stay. Juliet

Great staff, great room with personalized touches, great food at restaurants, small gym and no spa on site. Fabulous hotel, would return!

Beautiful hotel with excellent restaurant and bar…
-
First time staying in flat iron district. Everything lived up to expectations.
-
The room was quite small for the price. There were inadequate places for our clothing, not enough closet or drawer space. Not good value.

Great staff, hotel, bar restaurant all there

We travelled to New York to celebrate our honeymoon and brought our toddler along, and the team made all three of us feel genuinely special throughout our stay. A particularly thoughtful touch was the beautiful teddy bear waiting in our daughter’s room to commemorate her stay, which she absolutely loved. Every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. The amenities were outstanding, the rooms were luxurious and impeccably maintained, and the quality of the furnishings and design was remarkable. Every space felt thoughtfully curated, we often joked that it felt like we were living inside a beautiful painting. The location is another huge highlight. In our opinion, it couldn’t be better. You’re right in the heart of everything, with fantastic bars, restaurants, and cafés all within walking distance. We were able to explore so much of the city on foot rather than relying on the subway or taxis, which made our trip even more enjoyable. But if you do need to access the underground, it’s literally a two minute walk from the hotel doors. Thank you to everyone at the Fifth Avenue hotel for making our honeymoon so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return.
