Great location , clean rooms , excellent service
-
1 of 2 elevators was out of service for entire 4 day stay which meant long waits or using stairs.

Our second time at the Evelyn, and we were very pleased with a room upgrade and a gorgeous gift bag left in the room - a lovely personal touch and has ensured we will definitely return to the Evelyn on our next trip to NYC! Wine bar beautiful for the evenings and staff as helpful as ever - Breakfast is slightly limited but good for a quick grab and go

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Old world charm. Rooms were comfortable and serviceable small.
-
The front desk and lobby staff were so welcoming and patient with our large group. The rooms were bigger than I expected and the bathroom was also quite large. The lobby area of the bar was a great place to hang out with our group and grab a drink. The location was perfect for our objective and there were lots of dining options near the hotel. There was nearby parking as well. One of the elevators was broken, so getting up and down took more time that expected.
-
Good sized room for NYC with a small closet, desk, 2 night stands, and an armchair, free water bottles at the front desk, comfortable bed, good AC, bathroom with a actual door.

The property is beautiful and the staff were accommodating from the moment I arrived

Stylish and well maintained Lifts were slow

I stay here often and think it's the best option in NYC. Love the location. Team always helpful. Wonderful bar. Rooms are good and comfortable. They do need to do something about the painfully slow elevator situation though.

Unfortunately We didn’t take full advantage of the happy hour, but I like that it was there. Staff was very helpful & ready to assist with absolutely anything!!

The location was excellent for my family and me, as it was within walking distance to many monuments. The staff were amazing and welcoming, and the room was clean. The room was quite compact. Only one elevator was in service. The breakfast selection was rather limited, and the distribution method felt somewhat undignified.
-
Only one elevator working for my four night stay. Very inconvenient as the hotel was full. Very long wait times and then very crowded elevator cabs due to the wait. I normally really enjoy my stay at The Evelyn but this time it was not good.

We really enjoyed our stay at Evelyn Nomad Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the location is excellent, and the hotel’s design has a unique character that makes it stand out. It offers great value for money, especially for New York. The only reason I’m not giving it the highest rating is that the rooms are small, which is common in New York, and the hotel could benefit from a bit of renovation, as some areas feel slightly dated. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would happily recommend it for anyone looking for a well-located hotel with excellent service and fair prices.

Service

Dinet, Angel, Andre, and Kiani at the front desk were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Sebastian at the Brass Café also provided exceptional service and made us feel well taken care of. We especially enjoyed the complimentary wine hour, which was a lovely touch and added to the overall experience. The hospitality from the entire team made our stay even more memorable. The night table in the room was quite small and offered limited space for personal items. The décor is beautiful, elegant, and full of antique charm, but I think the carpets could benefit from some remodeling or replacement to give the rooms a fresher feel while preserving the hotel’s classic character.

The second elevator broke down the second day
