Very friendly staff, awesome location and comfortable room and bath. Will stay again when visiting family in the city!

The first time I stayed at this hotel, the area was pretty nice. Plant and flower vendors were outside and it was pretty. All of that is gone and replaced with several permanent homeless setups. It is dirty, smelly and generally unpleasant. The room appears nice on the surface, but a little water clean up on the floor, proved that the bathroom was in need of a good scrub. As do the baseboards and corners. Made me wonder what else needed attention. The nicest part of the stay was cold water in the lobby. We were able to fill our water bottles each morning. Not sure I'll stay here a third time. So many options in NYC, I'd probably stay somewhere with some nicer amenities.

The staff at the front desk was very helpful, and I loved that the room was clean. The air conditioning was great. Had a good time there; I would definitely recommend it and looking forward to going back again.
-
Bed super comfy. I just could have done without the encampment of the unhoused out front complete with drug addicts actively using needles in arms. Not hotel’s fault I guess just not ideal for the family vacation.
-
It's mostly great. The only concern I have is that there are several homeless people permanently stay outside the building next to the hotel.

As a solo traveler, I also felt very safe staying here, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The room was a great size, especially by New York standards, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. This is easily one of my favorite hotels I've stayed at in New York, and I would definitely book it again.

We had a fantastic stay here. The front desk was always very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and and room service daily was top notch. We had a small issue with the toilet and they sent someone very promptly to fix the issue. We definitely will be staying here again and highly recommend.
