Beautiful clean space. Best value

Great property!

we had issues with our air conditioning because the air was way too cold and it wouldn’t turn off so we were blasted with cold air all night, it took the staff a very long time to finally help us out after we complained about the air conditioning multiple times, they ended up upgrading our room and giving us a new room with a normal air conditioning but we were still disappointed in how long they took to fix this issue. the rooms were old and not super clean and the breakfast had very limited options, overall it’s a very mid hotel and the only good thing about it is its location since it’s in the very middle of manhattan

Enjoyed our stay. Very clean room. The bed is very comfortable. The location is excellent.

We stayed for four nights and loved the hotel. It was perfect, the location was logistically excellent. A train station on one end of the block and a bus stop on the other. I am sure the first day they thought we were crazy because we were in and out like 5 times, but they greeted us so warmly every time!

Excellent location, easy access to transit and only blocks away from interesting places (NY Public Library, Times Square, Empire State building, Macy's, etc.). The hotel is small, but nice. Helpful staff. Good restaurants nearby.

Hotel Stanford was an excellent stay. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Located in the heart of K town, this hotel was an excellent middle ground for all NYC has to offer. With great dining attached and nearby. Free breakfast was a nice touch, and they offer an umbrella to borrow if its rainy - learned that the hard way lol!

The worst part is the housekeeping service. My family purchased an M&M yellow bag that contained candy, two precious keychains, and a special limited edition The Great Gatsby cup that we placed inside. Along with our other bags, this bag was sitting in our hotel room when we left. When we came back, the beds had been made, but the yellow M&M bag was nowhere to be found. We searched the place from top to bottom, but sadly we couldn’t find it. We know that we did not misplace this bag and are certain the housekeeping must have taken it, there is no way it could have been considered trash as it was wide open with all of its precious souvenirs and belongings inside. The staff could not locate the bag and said there was no footage showing any robbery, yet obviously the housekeeper would have hidden it. We are very disappointed and will never book this hotel again. We are waiting for hotels.com’s action. Another disappoint was the breakfast service, the man allowing and placing customers at tables was considerably rude and condescending, forcing our family to wait a long time to eat. This was the first time bringing our family to New York at a huge expense with this hotel, which ruined the entire vacation for my family.

Extremely pleasant, and the breakfast room is open all day. You can just go in for tea.

However, I was disappointed in the free breakfast that was included in the stay. I did enjoy its simple options like the salad bar, sliced bread/croissant, french toast, yogurt, scrambled eggs, etc. But who serves chicken nuggets for breakfast? At least offer bacon, sausage, or some kind of alternative such as turkey, chicken or vegetarian based breakfast meats. Another thing - Hotel Stanford only has one elevator and a small one at that. Unless you're in peak physical condition and don't mind walking up or down a few flights of stairs, you're just going to have to wait for the next available lift. Overall: I would stay there again because of the walking distance to the subways, local restaurants, Penn Station and the Empire State Building.

Very bad

Amazing stay. Friendly check in/check out; clean property and all the amenities you need for a restful stay. The breakfast and all day free coffee.and tea are added bonuses. This propwety will continue to be one of my top choices while visiting NYC.

Great hotel in a neat location

I like the staff. Made the difference between above average and excellent. I would stay there again, based on the courteous and helpful staff. The location is a plus. Recommend.

Hotel is very dated for the price.
-
Friendly staff keeps the property safe as they ask for verification of stay during late hours. Great location and close to subways

Location in Koreatown. The beds were amazingly comfortable!!!!!! Nice AC - it was warm and very humid outside, took no time to cool down. Daily housekeeping was very nice too!

Our stay was great. The staff were excellent. They gave out bottled water. If you like a fancy breakfast with lots of choice, you may be disappointed. They had scrambled eggs, chicken nuggets, French toast sticks, bread and croissants, yogurt, 2 kinds of cereal, apples & bananas, vegetables, coffee, tea, milk and 2 kinds of juice.
