Excellent location, staff, clean.

Receptionist at check in was shouting at her colleagues because she wasn't able to do something. At check out, had the same receptionist, she didn't deal with the check out and the guy handling the luggage had to come to the rescue. Needed something printing in the middle of the day and another receptionist (though lovely) had to juggle the roles of concierge and being the only receptionist during a busy period. Why even advertise concierge services if you don't staff them? Restaurant food is fine, overpriced. Destination charge is useless. The hotel room is fine! But there's palm oil based white powder instead of milk?

Good central location with easy subway access

Awful hotel with awful people working it, don’t stay here, it was a terrible miserable experience

Great location and friendly staff. Beautiful hotel.

Nice location, friendly staff

Loved the location. Lobby is small and gets congested with large groups but not a real problem. Room was excellent, although I suggest bedside table lights be added. Room was cleaned each day. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Rooms have no decor wires hanging all over the place Room and hallways look rundown paint chipped walls and furniture very unappealing and look like a cheap apartment no tea in the room only offer coffe pods Would not recomend this to anyone

We didn’t have A/C the 2 nights we stayed. They first night we called front desk to let them know and they sent someone up and he changed the filter which looked like it hadn’t been changed in months. I wouldn’t stay again
-
Great service. The only negative comment is that the rooms are too small.
-
The location of this hotel is very good and the staff are nice. However, the rooms are very dated, with old furniture, and it seems unclean. The room had a very musty smell.

Great place to stay at! Lots of places around to look at and eat!

We had a wonderful stay, will visit again

The property is a bit older, and it shows in the rooms. Small room, tiny closet, a closet door that wouldn't stay closed, a musty odor, and just big enough for one person. My check-in at 1:00 a.m. was quick and easy, and the guest services gentleman at that hour was very kind and quick to bring me some slippers and a robe to get settled in. Both staff at the Concierge desk were helpful in answering questions, but one of them gave the impression she was too busy to stop her work to help one time. She got better as the stay went on. Staff in the restaurant and bars were very friendly, helpful, efficient, and polite. Doormen/valet were also friendly and very helpful, except for one who mistakenly assumed that guests don't speak languages other than English. His rude and unnecessary comments about guests as they passed through the doors did not go unnoticed, even though he may have thought he was safe by not speaking in English. Overall, my stay was very nice. I may book here again if travelling solo. Travelling with the spouse or sharing a room with others, I might consider other hotels nearby.

Terrific location, great staff. Will definitely be back

Wonderful little hotel right next to Carnegie hall. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, impeccable service, not a grumpy face in sight!

Very expensive hotel with a lot of hidden costs. They will charge you for literally everything, including WiFi and the air you breathe. There were also a lot of charges you won’t understand. Just go somewhere better.
