Really nice hotel in dowtown Manhattan area.

Maybe every room in NYC is small and we did expect it to be but it realllly was small. The room could be rearranged better with maybe shelves or more hooks? We wouldn’t return here. Our favorite part was the bartender Mingma! He was fantastic!

The Little Something hotel was delightful. From my check in to check out, my stay was awesome. All staff were polite and helpful. Touches like umbrellas to use at front door to housekeeping, were appreciated. I loved the location. I initially chose to stay in order to be able to walk to Pier 17, however I enjoyed walking around and the downtown area was quiet and peaceful. I am in NYC about 2-3 times per year, so I know a little bit about hotel quality. Kudos!

I enjoyed my stay at Little Something! It was close to an A Train station, and lots to do nearby. The staff was very very friendly and helpful (the woman with curly hair and glasses during the day, and the older gentleman and tall woman during the evening!) The lobby also smelled amazing when we arrived. The room is quite small but expected in NYC. The one important info we wish we knew was the shower head is a rainfall shower, and we did not want our hair wet so it was very hard to shower properly. There is a detatachable showerhead but only one setting (jet) which was s powerful and made water splash everywhere. Besides that, we had no other complaints for the hotel and would definitely return again for a quick NYC stay!

Rooms were clean, but small.

While the rooms are very small, they are very clean and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are plenty of coffee shops, CVS locations, and gyms nearby. The hotel gym is excellent. It has several machines, Peloton bikes, free weights, and a step machine. The lobby, work area, and patio are excellent. I was able to take Zoom calls in the work area on the 2nd floor and outside on the patio courtyard. There is a coffee/bar area. I didn't try the coffee shop/bar area because I wanted to explore the area, and they did not offer non-dairy alternatives. But the food looked good, the bar is nice, and the staff is friendly. My conference was at the PAC, and it was within walking distance.

I loved this stay! Steps to the piers and I loved the room details and salt and stone amenities! The bar was breathtaking and very quiet so I could truly relax during my stay.

Terrible staff at desk with attitude

The hotel itself is beautiful, and most of the staff were wonderful. Miguel at the bar was excellent, and the young woman at the front desk was extremely helpful. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing enough that I would not stay here again. The biggest problem is that this hotel simply does not seem designed with older guests in mind. I had a queen-size bed surrounded by a platform, and there was basically one practical way to get into and out of the bed. For a younger person, maybe that is no big deal. For an older person with mobility issues, it is extremely difficult. The rooms are also very small and cramped. The pillows were terrible. I asked whether they had better or different pillows, and apparently they did not. Maybe I am spoiled from staying at other hotels, but basic comfort should not be too much to ask. The internet was another major problem. At times I could barely make a call, send a text, or use the internet. The television was just as frustrating and did not work properly about 90% of the time. What bothered me most was the manager. A hotel manager should make guests feel comfortable and try to resolve problems. That was not my experience at all. The rest of the staff showed far more hospitality. On top of everything else, I was charged for an additional day for reasons I still do not understand. Beautiful property and some genuinely wonderful employees, but beauty alone does not make a good hotel stay. Between the tiny room, difficul

Very small space but very clean

Customer service was excellent. Seemed like a surge of folks checking in so they needed 2ppl in a small not designed to house 2. Which may need work, upgrade. Room was ready minus a remote, but resolved in a jiff. Check was easy peasy since I checked out early. They secured my back and retrieved quickly. All staff that I interacted with were very helpful. Could visits again. Few thing that were helpful, umbrellas out front on the day it rained, maybe a few more would be helpful. Overall excellent service. Thank you!

Upon check in I was told to add a card for incidental fees for a $100 hold. I checked my bank account shortly after and realized there was an additional hold for $174.56. I immediately brought this to the hotel representative’s attention where I was initially asked if I made any charges or purchases that could be that charge. First off they do not have a mini bar or concession to buy things from in the room and it was literally in the span of 20 minutes, I hadn’t even went to my room yet. I was then told that it was an error on the hotels end and they charged the wrong card. I was told by representativ Amanda that upon checkout everything would be released back to me. Fast forward to today, there is now a posted charge for $274.56 on top of the remaining hold of $174.56, but the $100 hold is no longer. I called the hotel to speak with a manager or supervisor which none was on site. So I speak with a Representative named Ny who tells me once again that the hold will fall off still but they posted a charge of $274.56 and they have refunded me the $274.56 which I should receive in 3-5 business days. It went from its just a hold that will fall off to now its posted and refunded. I am now out of $449.12 and received additional fees from my bank. One of the worst experiences I have encountered with a hotel, very unorganized. Now I have to monitor my account and wait for a refund so I can contact my bank to get the additional fees from this error reversed. I will not be returning!

Great FiDi location but pricey and working through the startup kinks. Staff were uniformly great. Room was small. The gym is fairly huge — but was not cleaned well when I used it and no towels provided. Breakfast bar staff were sweet but there wasn’t any espresso today…if the price comes down I may stay again (2K++ for 4 nights this week)

Great spot very close to subway rooms are tiny which worked for us but I’m sure not for everyone we will be back!

I loved everything about the hotel. Only note is that they could have better coffee.
