Loved our room and luxury amenities. The staff were incredibly helpful with any request!! Selene was also an amazing dinner. Thank you Modernhaus!

Great hotel, good location, helpful and friendly staff

Exceptional

Location was great and room size too. Very clean and prompt servicing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lifts were ridiculously slow! No notification prior to booking that the pool was closed? It was 30 degrees during our stay?

Breakfast was fine. But so many amazing spots to eat in walking distance. The view from the pool outstanding The lady at reception is a legend so will comeing and helpful Brilliant stay

Great location! Sink didn’t drain efficiently- would’ve addressed it if staying more than one night. Welcoming professional staff!

Nice and friendly staff. Really good breakfast. Dirty chairs specially at Jumpin Jacks including the sofa after the coffee bar. Closed roof top for a private event from 5-10:30pm including leaving only 1 elevator for guests. As I always asked for receipt, I noticed they charged me the hotel nights even though our reservation was booked and paid trough expedia. At least, they quickly refunded, but if we didnt claim the error staff would have not noticed.

Christie at front desk is the best, most responsive, helpful, warm, friendly; and part of the reason I feel so comfortable staying at ModernHaus every time.

Breakfast is really very sub-par. And even though hotels.com says it’s a free breakfast included, it’s actually just a $30 credit per person which covers most of it, but not all. The corner the hotel is located on, was very busy and hard to get into a Lyft or Uber pointed the right direction without a substantial amount of traffic. I admit it was a very busy time in NYC. Just not my favorite hotel and I don’t think I would return.

The downstairs area turns into more of a nightclub at night, and the pool was disappointing. It’s basically the size of a large whirlpool, which wasn’t what we expected from the photos. There are also age restrictions at the pool during certain afternoon and evening hours and on weekends, which really limited when we could use it as a family. Given that the hotel also charges an amenity fee, this was especially frustrating. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing. Twice we were served toast that was so burnt it was inedible. It’s a cute place and probably a better fit for adults looking for a livelier atmosphere, but knowing what we know now, we would have chosen somewhere else for a family stay.
