Now Now NoHo

Firstly, the staff were amazing. So friendly, and helpful - happy to give recommendations and answer all my questions. The location was perfect - Bowery gives you so many great streets and areas (Bleecker St, Elizabeth St, China Town/Little Italy, NoHo, Nolita, etc.) Some amazing coffee shops (% Arabica & Enly are great) and Apollo Bagels, etc. within 15 mins walking distance. You also have the subway, about 5 mins walk away which can take you to 5th Ave, Central Park, etc. Washroom facilities were all very clean, stocked loo rolls, and body wash, etc. and I never had to queue for a shower or loo. They also have Dyson hairdryers, and lots of plugs by mirrors for your own hair tools, etc. Finally, I have travelled a lot, and this was honestly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Without a doubt. I would 100% come back to stay here, without a doubt. For the most part, I slept like a baby - which I honestly felt super grateful for, given the set-up (be realistic that this is not a standard hotel set-up). However, there were a couple of nights where two girls selfishly had phone calls in the early hours (most people are super respectful). It is part of the parcel when you stay in a "hostel", so if you are a really light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. That being said, they do provide ear plugs, and sound machines for sleeping (no eye mask, so bring your own).

The location is simply amazing! And perfect for solo travelling. I stayed on a women+ Floor which was uper convenient. De rooms are tiny but the bed is super comfy. Staff is friendly am restrooms are really clean Most rooms obviously don't have any daylight. Which can become a bit draining on a longer stay. But it was only a small point for me :)

The staff is great, the space is clean and uncomplicated, and the lobby is a pleasant place to pause or do a cell phone call. The bathroom weren't always clean. It wasn't clear that you can't speak on the phone when I booked my space. It would be super helpful if there were a few comfortable seats in the downstairs lounge!

Room was small but comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean, and there were enough so I never had to wait to use them. They'd thought of lots of little details like slippers and earplugs that made the stay very comfortable It was a little loud as the rooms don't have proper roofs. So you do need to use the earplugs

Location was great. Decor was great. Actually really little noise is heard in the cubicles (from outside of the other cubicles). The shower products were lovely. Mostly clean. The little thoughtful details in the room were really sweet (eye mask, sound machine, etc.) The shower: not being able to open the window to air it out, the shower curtain smelled like bacteria (would be better to do a glass door there). Not enough hooks/hangers in the room. Would have been nice to get a bottle of water in the room on arrival. No elevator (not the end of the world, but no warning, and no one to help with bags on the way up on arrival). My bed sheets smelled clean but had a couple of stains, and there was a towel on top of the bed (on the wooden frame) that clearly hadn’t been spotted by cleaning before my arrival (and remained there the entire stay), so a little more in depth cleaning would be good.

Convenient and wonderful for solo, no frills travelers!

Do not trust Expedia descriptions: read reviews on Reddit before booking on Expedia. It was not clear what micro pod hotelling was from the Expedia review. I now know that the "plush bathrobes for the walk to the bathroom" meant that there were shared bathroom facilities, which is awkward at best. Neither was it clear that the ceiling was a series of wood boards with plenty of space in between for the air conditioning. The walls were thin, and the person who came to the bunk adjacent to mine at 12:45 last night was the least considerate of all the other residents, which wasn't helpful. The hotel provided earplugs, which is little consolation. I received accurate information from Reddit, but I would have hoped I would be able to trust Expedia

The room was clean and cozy for such a small space! It wasn't any noisier than any other stay in a busy city. I really enjoyed my stay here, the location was super convenient. My only complaint is that you have to pay for luggage storage. Also noting for other travelers that there is not an elevator! Staff were incredibly helpful and offered to carry my bag whenever i was going up/down the stairs which I appreciated.

Clean facilities Bathrobe slippers and charger at disposal. Easy to find & central located Fair price Easy-to-use lockers Tiny room, especially if you have large suitcases. Main issue: very noisy, not only outside the facilities but due to the doors' system, not possible to shut gently the doors [ night & day]. Staff barely friendly.
