My go to place- always pleasant:)

Everything over all was fine but we were given the wrong room code during our online check in and arrived at 6am and were unable to reach anyone to get into our room for almost 3.5 hrs. We called and texted 40-50 times and no answer. We sat in the lobby for 3.5 hrs waiting for someone to arrive or call us back after having a red eye flight and traveling for almost 14hrs and wanting to do nothing but sleep. We talked to office staff members and asked to speak to managment but never heard back from them. We will never go back due to the fact the managment did not care and made no attempt to apologize or make it right. Our issues fell on deaf ears with no response from them despite numerous texting, emailing, and leaving staff members messages for them to contact us to express our frustrations and diappointment with their serivce and the way things were handled. Customer service and managment were horrible.

Two things were not OK: 1. Small thing: Very spotty wifi. Had to use a mobile hotspot. 2, Larger issue: The hotel did not disclose its demands for check in until after booking. And check in information was withheld from me until I submitted six images of documents online to a website, The front desk did have workers during normal business hours, so there was no reason I had to upload these documents. I also had a problem with the language of communications, in which the mandatory nature of uploading documents was described as "expedited." It was not. It was mandatory. Again: Check in information for a prepaid reservation was withheld. I was very unhappy about this, especially since the reservation was paid for in advance through Expedia. And the communications I received from the hotel when I questioned the need to do so were (charitably) "unhelpful." More flexibility for prepaid reservations would be welcome.

The staff is very helpful and we liked the keyless entry and ability to text the front desk

Good value for the location, staff were extremely helpful

Place was fine. Room is small but clean. Staff was ok not super helpful but ok. Bring ear plugs bar next door can be loud. All in all it was ok.
-
Rooftop space was simple but perfect for hanging out. Staff was great. Extra towels and sheets easily available on common level. Noise could have been worse considering prime location.
-
The bar was so loud outside and my window was closed but it was outrageously loud . The staff might explain a bit more about how the room doors work. The decor was not so inviting for my taste.

Excelente localización. Muy cómodo y muy amables los encargados.

I loved the room, it was super sick

Great location for exploring downtown. TV Chanel’s were the very basic free broadcast stations. A bit loud at night but that’s NY.

The rooftop was amazing. Also a block from Whole Foods was helpful

Bad
-
Very good location, near the F line and not too expensive considering alternatives. No cleaning of facilities, poor maintenance including A/C system issues, poor bedding, blocked sink tap and leaking from shower to floor. On check in staff were not very helpful about confirming opening hours for an in person check in.

However, the thermostat for the room malfunctioned wildly and the mini-fridge froze all our food so that it was ruined. Some nights we sweltered because the temperature setting seemed to have no relation to what the actual temperature in the room was, at times varying by 6-12 degrees. After working appropriately the first night, the thermostat seemed to develop a mind of its own and would only work intermittently. Not a great thing in summer NYC weather. The mini-fridge seemed to run all the time even on the lowest setting, so was useless for anything but maybe chilling bottles of vodka. We lost about $50 worth of groceries as a result.

The room was not clean, the shower had mold and I checked out three days early. The hotel agreed to refund my three days but Expedia would not refund. Very unhappy. No resolution at all.
