Orchard Street Hotel

The best part was the AC. It worked great. But no hot water in the shower. The sink had some 2/5 days I was there. I woke up with bug bites and there were dead bugs by the window. Woke up on my last day with a bug crawling on the bed. But I guess for the price I get what I paid for.

The cleaning staff was excellent, did well beyond what was needed. Extremely great stay!

The room was very small (not unexpected) but clean. A little run down. Biggest issue was the hot water. It took 10-15 minutes to turn hot.

It was clean. Staff was nice, they have coffee and water, keep languages. You can hear a lot of noise at night from the hallway if people como in at night and talk and laugh. And my room was pretty small not night desk, no table.

Nice location The only member of reception staff did not have access to booking.com bookings, and had to contact her off-site manager, who told her there was no booking on their system, despite this being confirmed through both booking.com and by the property who had previously messaged me back on booking.com. The poor receptionist had to inform me that I needed to contact customer service at booking.com. Customer service have confirmed to me that my booking was on their system, so this is case of a poorly managed and/or unreliable property.

The room was pretty small but I didn’t mind I just needed a room and bed to be in for the nights I was there. I stayed for 3 nights, on my last day there the water from the shower head was barely coming out. I had to shower basically with droplets but other than that everything was good the view was nice. And the area does get loud during the weekend, I personally didn’t mind but for someone that needs silence choosing a different area would be better

Location Pumps went out… no water in room for one night out of three night stay. Even with water back on, water pressure in sink was not satisfactory

no fridge in the room, no tap to pay and you cant pay for anything with cash.... other than that its cool

Good location, clean rooms. Some facilities like tv didn’t work and reception staff aloof.

Wonderful view and nice hotel room. The water went out twice when we were there with no given time on when it was going to be fixed. When it was fixed the first time; we turned on the faucet and brown water shot out until it turned to normal clean water. We also stayed on the 10th floor and there was some loud noise that was consistent throughout the entire night during our whole stay that made it difficult to sleep. We couldn’t tell if it was from the wind with being on a high floor or what it was but it was very loud. Overall, the hotel was in a great location with an amazing view. We would’ve loved the hotel if it weren’t for the water issue and the random loud noise.

Tired property. Not good.

Our curtains were stained, hair in the shower, and the bed frame was broken and falling apart. We asked for this to be fixed and nothing changed but them making the bed and bringing new towels. On Friday there was also a change in the pump line which we were fully unaware of. We had to scramble to another friend of ours to shower at there place to make the plans on time.
