Nothing. Genuinely nothing. The cleanliness, the security, the room size. Almost everything. If you zoom into the pictures you’ll see hair and stains. The picture definitely still doesn’t do it justice. It was disgusting

Nice low key spot, basic but comfortable.

Was central and the staff were very friendly - always willing to help as much as they could. My room needed to be updated. For instance, the AC was leaking into a bucket which made noise throughout the night. The rooms look exactly the same as the pictures, but they’re tired and in need of an update. Picture is of a towel in a bucket next to the bed to stop the continual dripping throughout the night.

Not sound proof at all, so was up until 4am most nights. We were only checked in about 5 minutes to get a knock on the door for an exterminator and then to see a millipede in the bathroom. The photos are a catfish and I can’t understand the 7.8 rating. New York hotels aren’t the best but this was by far the worst (and not cheapest) I’ve stayed. Feels almost like a hostel.

Location was great. Staff was extremely nice! There is a lounge with books and coffee/water downstairs. The coffee wasn't bad! Room was not huge, but perfect for the 2 nights I was there. I'd stay again! Stupid little things, like not enough storage in the bathroom. Women have a lot of toiletries and there was room for additional shelves, but nowhere to really put all my stuff. They could add additional shelves in the bathroom.

Comfortable and very clean. Shockingly large bathroom. Coffee facilities in thr basement, and the bed was comfortable. The room is small for anywhere else, but quite large for NYC. I've stayed in more than a few places where you can actually walk around the bed because the room is so small. It's also sun y and bright, not not a bad walk from the metro. Couldn't figure out the AC, it LOOKS like the controls are on the unit, but there's actually a wall mounted control station that SHOULD have been obvious, but somehow, to both of us, was not

Loved our location in very hip area. Liked tea and coffee, water and ice downstairs. Great front of house service 24 hours. Loud partiers stayed one night in weekend. This needs to be monitored carefully for other stayers. Room was very small.
