SIXTY Lower East Side

The views from my room were absolutely amazing with floor to ceiling windows Small lobby area, but that isn’t a deal breaker, this is a great hotel to stay

Very good air conditioning and a good view from the huge window. The room safe was not low to the floor the floor as they tend to be in hotels. This meant that I did not have to bend low to the floor and so saved my back and knees. The hotel have a gym and a sauna on their listing. I confirmed that this was the case in a phone call prior to my arrival. I did this because I suffer with arthritis and I find that a sauna is especially helpful. When I arrived at the hotel and was booking in however, I was informed by the concierge.That the gym was no longer in use. That it was under repair but that this had been the case for years and there was plan in place to remedy this. Went I went to the gym to take a look. There was in fact a sauna but it was not working and being used as a storeroom for bottled water. This was extremely disappointing because I had chosen this one hotel specifically because it stated that it had a sauna.

I loved my stay at the LES Sixty. The front desk staff and the cleaning staff were amazing. I was a little disappointed that I was being charged a building amenities fee when we weren't allowed to use the pool and also the room next to us smoked weed amd cigarettes all day and all night. The smell was leaking into my room and it kicked off my asthma. Once I told the staff they took care of it as much as they could so I appreciated that. But overall, my stay was very pleasant.

Everything was great except the nightclub on the seventh floor, the music from which kept us awake until 1am both nights. Don’t stay here Thursday through Saturday if you want to sleep.

While the restaurant here is currently closed, there is no lack of venues in the neighborhood, to put it mildly. Great location a few steps from the F train. Super clean and well-maintained. Coffee cups in the room could use an upgrade, and the TV won’t pair with your streaming services (except for Google). Otherwise, nice joint.

Location is good. Rooms are pretty quiet except for the room next to us. Overall clean room and bathroom. I booked this due to it being a fairly large room for NY but a big chunk of the room was the entry hall…not usable. Our deadbolt didn’t work. We reported it. No change in the 5 days we were there. Typical NY some good and some bad.
