I did last minute trip here for my birthday solo and I can say I didn’t have any issues apart from it was a little expensive. It’s in the heart of times square so I guess that’s why, it’s walking distance to everything you can think of I would definitely stay here again I definitely felt safe..

Great location. It’s a room. It works great
-
My room had no air conditioning and no attempt to accommodate us was offered. If they were fully booked an attempt to offer a fan, cold water, or a refund to go elsewhere but none of that was offered.

Great experience, great location and convenient
-
Dirty rooms with roaches, they just aren’t nice but the most basic things you’ll have. The towels were stained and dirty as well

We didn’t even check in while we were in line to check in multiple customers told the staff about no air conditioning in the rooms and mould on the walls the lady on the desk was very matter of fact said she could’ve changed the room if they told them. We decided to cancel and book somewhere else. The lady on the desk advised me that was the best thing to do as she couldn’t guarantee us a room that wouldn’t have the same issues other customers experienced. As we were rebooking in reception there was another couple doing the same thing. There are much better places in New York for not much more money.

Thank you to all the staff and especially to Maria it was a great time

Amazing location for anyone wanting to see broadway shows! Right in times Square and just a few steps away from the TKTS discount booth!

The location was perfect to all the destinations we wanted to see.

I knew when I booked that this was a budget-friendly hotel, so I wasn’t expecting luxury. However, my stay was still very underwhelming. The AC either did not work or was so ineffective that I could barely feel it. It was extremely hot and humid, and people on my floor were leaving their hotel doors open because of the heat. There is also no fridge, and you have to request a microwave. Budget-friendly also does not have to mean worn down. There was chipped and peeling paint, and the hotel generally felt poorly maintained. One night, there appeared to be only one employee working across multiple floors. Where was management? I genuinely felt bad for him. He was doing his best and did not deserve to be left handling that workload alone. Please treat your staff better. I also had a hospitality staff member speak to me in an incredibly condescending and unprofessional way, as though I were a child being scolded rather than a paying guest. The elevator is VERY small and does not seem particularly ADA-friendly (good luck if you come with a lot of bags), and deliveries must be picked up in the lobby. Overall, I would not recommend staying here, especially during the summer. I will not be returning. Everyone’s experience may differ, but I want others to know what they may encounter before booking.

The location was amazing and the guy at the luggage storage was helpful and kind. It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room or a coffee and water station set up in the lobby in an obvious location. Whatever the case, it wasn’t in plane sight.

The location of this hotel is absolutely prime, and all of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the luggage storage because it meant that I could store my things before check in and after checkout so I could explore downtown NYC.

The room was horrible !! The bed was so thin and the blinds were terrible all beat up with holes. The noise from the street was so loud. The bathroom was literally like showering on the street!!! I would never stay there and we left during the night!!! Horrible stay! Do not waste any money here! They cheated some few per day that I’m trying to dispute. !!! We didn’t charge anything we didn’t even stay for 24 hours

Unfortunately, I’m unable to leave any kind of a positive review for this hotel. Our flights were canceled mid air and we were forced to divert and return back to our origination city. The hotel has been absolutely terrible in communication with us regarding any kind of a refund for our stay. At first we were told that night that they would refund us and then when we had to follow up, they acted like they never spoke to us before. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Elevator takes forever and the rooms were clean. But surprisingly quiet
-
Older hotel. Very noisy, both outside and inside (the ac unit was deafening).
-
The room was clean but small and everything else was good
-
There were a lot of bugs flying in the room! The space is cute but needs to be up kept better!

While the room was centrally located in the theater district, I probably wouldn't stay here again. Our room entry door wouldn't lock. We had to rely on the safety latch, which was loose. There wasn't any "Do Not Disturb" sign for the door, and twice, housekeeping walked in on us without announcing. The room, which was a king size "upgrade" room, had a single window that was about 3 feet wide and 4 feet tall and looked at a wall that was about 5 feet away. The shower was not tidy and had water stains. The floor wasn't vacuumed. The bed was like sleeping on a college futon and squeaked every time we even blinked an eye. We were only given a single washcloth for two of us. The air-conditioner was so loud that it kept us up at night, and it didn't keep the room at the temperature we wanted. We were freezing by the morning, and didn't have access to additional blankets. Other hotels are a little bit more money, but the extra cost is probably worth the price. If you are struggling with finances and need a cheap place to stay, this is the perfect hotel. If you expect a hotel in NYC to be a little bit more upscale, considering its location, try another place.

Small room and overall condition of the bathroom was desappointing
