Hampton Inn New York Times Square

The lobby was under construction, but there's no workers the days I stayed. Probably they will finish it next year. Breakfast is ok, but they can improve it. The room is small but is ok.

The room is very small bathroom have water damage. The service won’t give me any credit because we only use three of the five rooms.

Unfortunately, a smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night, awakening us. Although this could not be helped, and apparently deemed a false alarm, it was annoying that staff made 3 announcements spread 20 or so minutes apart saying it was a false alarm, awakening us 3 more times! One announcement would have been good! The air conditioning unit was rather noisy as well, but the bed was comfortable. Pillows could use an upgrade.

There were no places to sit for breakfast. We had to take food to our room 3 out of the 5 days. The breakfast was limited and there was always a ton of people trying to sit and eat. Location is ideal but they need some people management to help it be a pleasant experience while in the hotel.

The stay was excellent. Very heavy traffic for elevators in the morning. Had to walk down 18 floors just to get to the lobby once. Other than that no other issues.

Same goes for the rooms but the amenities , were adequate.Elevators can be challenging during prime time . Staff was generally pleasant and helpful.

Enjoyed my stay and room!

The staff were very helpful with everything. I requested, I left my baggage and they walk over and took the luggage from my hands since I was too early. My luggage was placed on a safe area. The free breakfast was made daily and there were no limits to the amount of food you can eat. The staff clean the tables as soon as someone finish so others can have their breakfast. The rooms are clean and no carpets. I was so happy that there are no carpets due to my allergies. Also no pets.

Clean and comfortable hotel in the middle of Times Square. The staff was helpful in the hotel felt super safe. The breakfast was not that good but it was no additional charge.

The location is too good and the breakfast was really good too. The only inconvenient is the elevator it takes long time to come especially in rush time as at the breakfast time. The room was too small for family of 4 persons two adults and two children no space to move at all

The location was great and the breakfast was good. The staff at the front desk were pretty rude, I assume this is a result of the hotel trying to make money by volume of reservations rather than quality of the stay. Housekeeping came to my room one time during my stay and only after I asked for it. There was no gym and the whole place was kind of grimy- again, I think this was a result of trying to cram as many people into a small place as possible. I felt like I was nickel and dimed for every little thing. There is a comparatively priced chain down the road we stayed at last year and I will be sticking with that hotel in the future.

Perfect location, great clean rooms. Great experience

The breakfast was the most horrendous I've had anywhere. I travel frequently and understand it's provided complimentary, but nothing was barely edible. I had to go out for breakfast. The elevators were so bad. A bank of 5 or 6 elevators and usually only 2 working at a time. It took me over 25 mins to get from my room on the 28th floor, down to the lobby for checkout. This hotel needs a better system and upgrade. I would never stay here again. The room was sweltering as the air conditioning wasn't working correctly

We enjoyed our stay. The location, while closer to Times Square than I like, was still quiet at night. Our beds/pillows were comfy. We were on the 2nd floor, and I highly recommend this lower floor b/c when the elevators are congested you can take the stairs w/out issue. The breakfasts were good (albeit crowded). I found the staff to be very courteous (esp those serving breakfast and handling luggage drop off) and I am grateful for that.

Great location. Updated, clean rooms. Decent breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!
