Tempo by Hilton New York Times Square

I liked the room. It was clean, had a good view, and I surprisingly slept very well during my stay. The front desk staff were nice, as well as the security. I also liked that the hotel has security precautions to make sure people who aren't guests aren't freely walking into the hotel, especially since it's located right in Times Square, which is a very busy area. The hotel was easy to find and very close to transportation. It's right in the middle of nightlife, restaurants, shopping, and everything going on in Times Square. It's beautiful. Would I stay there again? Only if I have the money lol. My stay at Tempo Hotel was nice. Negative: The room was much smaller than I expected. Also, make sure you close the shades because people may be able to see you when you're coming out of the bathroom or getting dressed lol. There is no microwave available in the building to heat up food. I asked and was told there wasn't one, so I had to eat my food cold. I also wanted to heat up soup but couldn't. The bathroom sink needs to be fixed because the water drains pretty slowly. I was also disappointed about the photos. Some of the pictures make it look like there are outdoor patios/terraces available, but that wasn't what I found during my stay. The first picture especially doesn't look anything like what I saw at the hotel. I think the hotel should update the pictures or explain more clearly which rooms or areas the pictures belong to, because they can be misleading.

Cute, modern, close in walking proximity to everything! Rooms are small but it’s New York, gotta expect that.

Location and view Some unexplained charges that i will have to call to get explained to me.

Location is one of my favorites so I rate high points for that A hotel at this price point should not have paper cups for use in the room. They should be glass. Also, again at this price I expect bathrobes like other equally priced hotels in Manhattan offer.

I dont like the fact that you have to pay for simple things like water and coffee. They don't offer any complimentary drinks, and no effort to assist with early check-in 😡😡

Great location. You step outside and you are in the middle of Times Square. Everything is within walking distance, from Central Park to 5th Ave. to the subway. Between all the crowds, you do not hear the noise. The staff were all helpful

The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We didn't have the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The location was central; however, Times Square is busier than I had imagined and I would opt for a quieter area next time, which is just a personal preference. It also would have been nice to be able to make a tea in the room, so that was very much missed. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.
