Booked. The front desk agent was friendly and helpful. The hotel Itself was clean. Only issue we came across was when we finally got to the room and went to lay down, pulled the comforter the sheets were stained and had crumbs on them. We had to walk down to the lobby as we were calling and calling the front desk and no answer. However housekeeping did show up to change the sheets within 10 mins which was impressive. Other than that no issues. I would stay here again.

The hotel is right in the heart of Manhattan, on Times Square and 7th Avenue, at the beginning of Broadway. The city is buzzing around you 24/7, yet this does not affect the quality of rest at all — my room was quiet, comfortable and welcoming. Housekeeping was excellent and attentive, and the staff throughout the hotel — both at reception and in housekeeping — were consistently kind, responsive and genuinely willing to help, whether with practical advice, recommendations or small requests. A kettle for boiling water was provided upon request. I would especially like to mention the young gentleman at reception who checked me in on the evening of 22 September and kindly helped me with my luggage and arranged a kettle for my room. I am also very grateful to the lady at reception who was on duty on the morning of 23 September. As this was my first visit to New York, she explained very clearly and patiently how to get where I needed to go. What touched me particularly was that when I returned that evening, she remembered me and asked how everything had gone. It was such a small gesture, but an exceptionally warm and human one. I only regret that I did not ask her name. And finally, a special thank you to Gabrielle from housekeeping: if you happen to read this, I am sending you my warmest regards and sincere thanks for your kindness and for helping me with my luggage on the day of my departure. A wonderful stay in an exceptional location, made even better by genuinely caring people.
