I was travelling to the US for a wedding and didn’t realise check-in was 4 pm which was when the wedding started. The staff went above and beyond to get me checked in early so I had time to get ready for the wedding. I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend great location great service wonderful staff.

Nice hotel, clean room. Odd bed layout but matches the pictures and it’s an efficient use of space.

Placemakr was such a great option for my first time staying in New York. They were very good at communicating and they are accommodating! We were able to leave our bags at the front desk before our room was ready which was really nice so we didn’t have to have our luggage with us while we went around the city. The place feels clean and safe. As someone that was a little nervous of what areas to stay in in New York, the area where the hotel is located was nice and felt safe. It’s really close to subway stops so getting to other places in the city is easy! Would definitely stay here again!

The Sky studio we had was of a good size by the NYC standards. The location is excellent; we had a good view both of the city and of East River from our window.

Close to everything! We have stayed here numerous times for extended stays and love it! The staff, the accommodations, the Bagel Market… ideal location as well!

This hotel was great. The location was perfect with easy access to the subway and ferry. The room was clean and spaces. Having a lot of room is rare for a NYC hotel. The only negative was the shower. Water gets everywhere.

Placemakr Wall Street was very clean and well maintained. Our room was spotless, the bathroom was clean, and the common areas were inviting. The location was lovely and convenient, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Great location, amenities and price!

This hotel was very clean and had plenty of space! It is also very accessible, one of our travelers is in a wheelchair and it was very well equipped to make things easy for him! We will absolutely be staying again.

Very good property! Amazing for families

The staff responded very quickly to my inquiries- we were warmly welcomed upon check in and they remained accommodating throughout our stay!

Very nice and well furnished hotel. Very nice and welcoming staff. The hotel was very noisy though. I've heard loud bassy techno music coming from Pier 17 concerts every night (6 to 10pm) and doors slamming in the hallways.

However I did have a bad experience finding a roach in my room late one evening which obviously was super unpleasant. The front door of the room had quite a large gap at the bottom which I think it came in through from the trash area across the hallway. One of the members of staff on the desk was very helpful and sympathetic, but the other was extremely dismissive and acted annoyed that he had to find me another room, he didn't even apologise for the inconvenience or offer for someone to help me move my bags. The whole thing left me feeling bad and affected my sleep even in the room that I was moved to. For the price this place is pretty good, but if your budget can stretch even a little I'd recommend branching out.
