Great location with spacious rooms. We appreciated the lobby spaces as a landing spot for a quick bite and found the location to be quick to access but quieter than other spots we’ve stayed. A great choice!
-
The rooms were large compared to most NYC rooms. Great atmosphere.

I am a woman who travelled with my teenaged daughter and niece, and we felt completely safe in the neighborhood.

Great location

The hotel staff was amazing!!! we got in late and the night staff was so warm and friendly for 1AM! . each night we got in late and the night staff again, so kind. the day time door man and front desk staff also very helpful and friendly. lobby is really cute, warm and cozy. small coffee shop and little water and snacks available in lobby shop. for NYC the room size was good with cute decor. They had a few small things in the room that needed repairs plus things like behind the TV needed cleaning, only noticed since we stayed a full week! Overall great hotel staff, walkable to theater and time square good decor and nice options available, I would stay again!

The AC in our room didn't work. We sweated all mighty. The mattress was terrible we woke up on pain. 0/10; don't recommend.
-
Excellent staff, room is large, well-designed, clean and comfortable.
-
The location was great but the amenities were outdated. No coffee machine in the room and aparently there are no bathrobes available unless we want to purchase it for $75

The rooms are regular, expected, hotel style with older-type wood furnishings. The hallways are excessively dark green. The beds are average in comfort, with just a mattress on top of a platform frame. The even number side of the hotel is quiet to the outside. In 100+ degree weather both the hotel and room HVAC cannot keep up to cool, making the areas feel humid and warmer than expected. Security to the room levels is good - needing a valid keycard to enable the elevator. Location of Romer's is good to the surrounding areas, making walking easy. I knew of the $45+tax/night resort fee and what it included - however, the front desk never explained it or what benefits were offered on check-in. Overall, I'd suggest looking at all local hotels to this area and making a different choice is there is a better price. This hotel is an 4 out of 5 - no more.

AC hot. Carpet stinks. The room smell musty. Water takes so long to get hot. Bed so hard hurt my back.

Stayed for a weekend with my mom. We loved the Romer! Very convenient, clean and spacious. Was just what we needed!
-

Very cute room and good location

Can’t say enough good about this hotel! Location was perfect. Staff was so nice and helpful. Also… it’s just a very good vibe.
-
Got the worst room ever. Construction view. Worker walk just outside of the room. (Room was on the second floor and construction worker walk on the roof just outside of the room. Made a reservation six month ago but still got the such a horrible room.

Great place

Great vibe. Similar but even better than the great stay we had at their Waikiki property. Speakeasy was nice although it closed early for us at midnight on a Saturday night. Room decor was simple but tasteful and well done. Rooms are large for NYC. Friendly and professional.

Rooms are big compared to other properties at this price point in the area
-
The room was a good size for NYC, not a closet! Bed was comfy with adequate pillows. The Bell Man was super helpful/accommodating. The Front Desk wasn’t super accommodating with early check-in l, but did end up letting my hubby check-in an hour early. The location is convenient & by Time Square.

Great location if you want to be in mid-town. We were on the 5th floor and could hear the occasional street noise but it wasn’t too bad except for garbage pick up day.
