The FIDI Hotel

Staff very nice and helpful. HVAC fine. Good black- out shades. Included breakfast just OK. Afternoon included wine and cheese on top floor good. Downtown location excellent and within 2 blocks of 4 different subway lines. Price of room more than satisfactory for NYC ( room prices at Doubletree directly across street more than double). Overall would have been exceptional value, if only some additional storage options.

This place was a last minute booking and it was excellent! reasonable space and there is a lot of sights to see near by! I defiantly would consider them for my next visit

I have stayed at the FiDi on two separate visits for business trips (I pay for the hotel myself) and the location is central to Lower Manhattan and only two blocks from the Staten Island Ferry and lots of bars and restaurants nearby, including Francis Tavern. The breakfast is mostly carbs (bagels, pastries) and yogurt and coffee. They offer happy hour frequently, but I have not attended. The rooms are small as most are in NYC, but clean and modern. No refrigerator or drawers, only a closet to hang clothes and a shelf in the closet. Definitely opt for a high-level floor because NYC street noise is real.

Not towels in the room asked several time and nobody help right away. You advertised a nice view but all we have was another building in front of us.

Did not care for the $35 facilities charge add on. 2 bottles of water and access to the gym. Otherwise, very nice.

I booked this stay as a solo female traveler, and I was really pleased. The location is perfect. I felt safe and sound staying in and getting to and from the hotel. The room had everything I needed for a quick stay. It’s not huge, but if you’re not planning on sitting in your room only than I think it’s just perfect. It was extremely clean and well maintained a free breakfast was really nice with a good selection of fresh fruits, healthy options like oatmeal and Greek yogurt and good coffee Would definitely recommend!

Staff was amazing from front desk to breakfast room to manager of the “happy hour” ( i can’t recall her name. Hotel decor is a bit dark. Location is ok - very easy to get to subway station and some decent restaurants in area. Good value for the price.

Front desk help was courteous. Rooms clean. Property clean. Nice little breakfast area in the morning. Elevators work great as compared to a hotel just across the street. Overall great experience.

Secluded Bait and switch game for a matter of mire minutes, it make the hotel reputation sink to that of a holiday Inn.
