Rooms too small for the cost

Great spot

We had some issues on my first day with the room, but they made up for it on the second day

Nice classic 4 star hotel, small but functional and clean rooms

My room had an air conditioner unit in the window. The unit was secured in the window with a piece of foam and black electrical tape. I noticed that wind was coming in through the gaps and told the front desk. Someone came to fix it and he covered it up as best as he could, but there was still a lot of cold air getting in the room. The room dropped to 66 degrees. The second night, someone came to my room and told me that they needed to release a tube in the ceiling to drain excess water or the ceiling in my room would leak. The room was great otherwise but these were some serious issues!

Great hotel and location. The speakeasy under the hotel was a unexpected surprise .

Downstairs lounge Am used to small rooms in NYC but even booking the even largest corner room it is as very cramped and the bed position against the window and built up is awful. The ‘bathroom’ size of a cupboard with just toilet and shower crammed in and the sink in the bedroom. The roof top bar was closed to residents both nights we stayed. Not sure why first night but second they had rented out for a private event. Bar was closed both nights too. Staff were mixed. Some were customer focussed, others too busy writing in journals for their wellbeing (I kid you not) to deal with paying guests. Overall just awful - there much better options in New York for the price

Great stay! Cool hotel - comfortable bed. Rooms are extremely small, so as long as you know this going in... it's a great place to stay!

Location was great but that was the only thing selling it Rooms weren’t clean Had to ask everyday at 4pm for my room to be cleaned even though I’d put the clean my room sign on first thing Reception staff were unfriendly and cold - unwilling to help, unwilling to offer a late checkout - rude upon check in Hotel was noisy- rooms were not sound proofed

The location was great, the lounge area and the overall aesthetics of the hotel are nice and as pictured Including the hotel’s additional charges, the total came to more than USD $490 (690 AUD) for one night. Based on the photos and price, I expected a more premium experience, but the room lacked even basic amenities: no tea or coffee facilities, only cheap plastic bottles of water, no international charging options or adapters, and the gym was out of service. The hotel could not even provide umbrellas despite the pouring rain. Overall, the stay was extremely disappointing and represented very poor value for money. There were other hotels in the same area for half the cost, I would have been better booking one of them as this was nothing more than a clean room to stay for the night.

Good location, great style and vibes. Microscopic room for 600$ paid per night!, missed cleaning the first day, had to request to get them at the end of the second day.

Exceptional

Location for us was perfect. Room had paint splashes on wood work and furniture. Room was looking a little tired.

Small rooms. Room key didn’t work sometimes on the elevator. and there was lots of construction going on right in front of the hotel and was woken up everyday at 7am. Not the best experience

Clean nice restaurant great staff

location, rooftop bar, cafe in the lobby. room was small, bed not so comfy.

The staff was super friendly and the hotel was very clean. Very comfortable bed and great night’s sleep! The room did state a cozy king, but MAN it was tight in there and very little space to move or place items. More shelves would have made things easier.

Staff were superb! Room was available at 9am as I arrived too early. Bathroom cleaning was spotty but overall fantastic stay
