The staff were polite upon arrival, and the rooms were spacious, but the $42-per-night amenities fee felt like a hidden charge. I was told it was listed in the Hotels.com terms, but I couldn’t find it when booking. The shower on the 30th floor had very poor water pressure, and the bathroom could use improvement. The hotel is also not the quietest due to NYC traffic and sirens on 6th Ave. That said, the architecture and character of the hotel are beautiful, and we enjoyed the overall stay.

Frustrating experience with the hotel’s customer service. A package of mine was initially accepted and then rejected and returned, which caused tracking issues and made it difficult for me to receive my refund. I contacted the hotel asking for proof of return or the return tracking number, but they stopped responding to my messages. Without the hotel’s assistance and proof that the package was actually returned, I am unable to receive my refund. Since the confusion occurred on the hotel’s side, I expected more cooperation in resolving the issue. The customer service was disappointing.

Very good location, great staff Our Room 1910 needs some work. Closet doors need attention, no Full mirror, and one night table was missing a handle.
