Hampton Inn & Suites Richmond - Downtown

It exceeded my expectations. I loved the fitness center. I wish I could have been their longer to enjoy the rooftop restaurant

Located right downtown, near all Main restaurants Entrance of the building smelled like sewage. We were in town for a family vacation, rooms did not have any drawers to put our clothes in. Our 10yr old was also sad they didn’t have a smart tv as we normally like to sign into our Netflix account for him to watch his shows when we’re at the hotel. I asked for full room service on our third day. They did not change our sheets, did not vacuum our floors and did not leave fresh towels.

I lifted the toilet seat and it was dirty. The lighting in the room was poor. Dated tv no guide or instructions, wasted time figuring out. Rooftop restaurant, food was terrible. Very disappointed and would never return.

Great location and a gorgeous room with a nice view. I would gladly stay there again if I’m in that area. Was perfect for going to see a show at The National which is super close by

I really like that there's a 24 hour coffee station in the lobby. Please don't ever get rid of that. It's a service that's probably cheap for the company to provide and it brings a lot of joy to the customers. I also appreciated that the coffee station included hot chocolate.

Room was nice and clean. Staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. Breakfast was also a plus. Would stay again.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The parking garage was difficult with narrow spaces. We parked on level 5B and the elevator for that level did not have a kaypad to call the eleveator so we were forced to walk down a level to get the elevator. There was a live bug in the bathroom.

The Staff including the cleaning and front desk staff were courtesy and positive. The breakfast had a large variety from waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit and coffee. Our room was clean and quiet.
