Hampton Inn & Suites Richmond - Downtown

Parking is a hassle and I had difficulty finding entrance and lobby. I am not used to downtown buildings.

Hotel was in a good location; near public transportation; breakfast was good & variety of items; housekeeping was not done unless requested; AC (in room) was out for most of my stay.

There was no lighting in the bedroom, except for lights by the headboard. That made it impossible to do anything in the bedroom that required any type of light at all. There was no makeup mirror in the bathroom The curtains did not close to block out light There was no drawer space for clothes. Will not return!

Elevators are kinda weird but that's just personal preference

Breakfast was dollar tree comparison to Publix kind .

Super clean and beautiful with i could have stayed longer.

Location of hotel and staff plus size of room. Lack of USB or USC charge points near bed.

Breakfast is included but leaves a bit to be desired. Also the reception desk was unattended in the morning.

The rooms were good and close to many restaurants

TV didn't work, fridge didn't work, wasn't convenient to get in and out of hotel

Do not let them put you on the 19th floor on a weekend. The pounding music from the nightclub upstairs will keep you awake and the hotel staff report they can do nothing about it. Also, there are no security measures in the hotel or garage.

The bathroom was large but no ventilation, and no towel bars to hang used ones. If we're to be more mindful of the environment and not request fresh towels daily, there should be towel bars to hang them to dry. Also, the luggage carts were a bad design and they only had 2 for the entire hotel.

Nothing There was Noone at the desk gave me keys to a room that was out of service then room was dirty no one to tell elevators were dangerous

Never got a chance to try it. That you cancelled our reservation after we agreed with your representative that we would NOT cancel.

The breakfast was cold and the ladies bathroom in the lobby was terrible- 2 stalls were not working and smelling. We were expecting to have dinner in the hotel and the restaurant was locked down. The garage was tight and the trash cans were overflowing. And on top of that we couldn’t even get out of the garage when it was time to leave. The room was cold so we had to get a heater, because it to long to get warm. Everything

Jarvis G was wonderful. He was so helpful with answering all of our questions and helping us with parking. Give him a raise!!
