Very convenient location.

Room was clean and stocked with essentials. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. The continental breakfast had a nice variety of options and well prepared. We will definitely come back!!

My husband had place the no disturbed sign on our door and around 9am, the room door just opened without even a knock from the cleaner. That was very weird and disturbing to say the least. Finally, it is not easy to locate your property as it is like two hotels in one. This should be written on your website in advance, so that guess know this. That would have been so very helpful so we did not spend like 20 minutes trying to figure out how to enter the right property and maybe use the garage as the street address. Not sure. It was just confusing.

2 weeks before our trip the hotel sent an email to cancel the booking unilaterally citing “HVAC” issues. You could still book the same rooms from their website or Expedia but they were now double the price! They must’ve seen high demand for the weekend (a convention was going on at the Greater Richmond Convention Center), and they canceled booked reservations to book the same rooms for double the rate. This is price gouging at its worst! And they’re liars. There was no HVAC issue. I hope more and more people go online to expose these frauds, and some actually take them to court….

I enjoyed the room it was comfortable have a very nice amenities and the staff was cool.

Breakfast did have many options but nothing that really stood out. Free parking was great! Actually finding the way to the hotel from the parking garage was terrible. There's got to be a better way to provide directions.

Exceptional

The room was spacious and well-equipped. Biggest problem we had was with the WATER. Water in kitchen sink only came out hot--NO COLD water! Shower stall was a little dirty and very old shower head kind of broke when I tried to move it. Water pressure in general really low, especially in bathroom sink--couldn't even wash our hands there, so went to kitchen sink to wash hands and brush teeth. Again, only hot water there.

I was very impressed with the room, which came with a full kitchen and utensils. The bed was very comfortable. The self-serve breakfast was better than most hotels. I would defintely stay at the Homewood Suites again. The only negative was the $25 per night parking fee.

Check-in was at three. We arrived at 3:10. We were given a room at 4:15. The room was spacious, but felt like it was rushed cleaned and didn't feel fresh. Nothing really terrible, just setting expectations for other travelers.

Everything was excellent. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Social hour on Wed with complimentary wine and appetizers was a pleasant addition to our stay. Very clean room and quiet parking is easily accessible but $25 a night. Would stay here again. It’s downtown

Location/ decor The nasty cold breakfast; house keeping every other day; the thermostat would be inoperable during the day then would be operable late night and inoperable again in the mornings

The hotel is excellent.

The ac was broken in the room given to us, so we were moved to another room. This room hadn’t been vacuumed and three light switches were not working. The phones in both rooms did not work.

Clean and staff was polite The building was very strange being “2 hotels” in the same building owned by the same company.
