Great hotel and great service. Feels like stepping back in time in lobby in a good way!

First time staying at the historic Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, but hopefully won't be our last. Gorgeous property, located within walking distance to everything we wanted to do (concert at Dominion Energy Center, great meal at Julep's, wonderful breakfast at Perly's). Highly recommend if you are looking for a very special stay.

Such a great hotel - great staff, interesting, welcoming... we always feel good at the Jefferson. Our only ask is please, please improve the gym (though access to the great YMCA close by helps).

Staff were gracious and helpful. Hotel is Stunningly beautiful from another era. Gym in use but not crowded. Food was simply the most delicious ever.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. Top tier staff, service and food. Quality all the way down to the bath towels. The night time turn down service was unexpected and just another level of class for this lovely historic hotel. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Give yourself time to take in the lobby, it’s overwhelming to try and take it all in at arrival.

Beautiful Hotel. Great restaurant and food. Wonderful amenities and beautiful room. I even had a dressing area with table and full length mirror.

Make sure to bring some nicer clothes to really feel like you're immersed in the environment. I highly recommend eating at Lemaire inside the hotel. Great amenities including a gorgeous bathtub and shower. I recommend the King room! Very helpful staff as well, and there are cute gift shops too. My wife especially loved the complimentary robe you can use in the room! There is no complimentary breakfast that I know of, but there's plenty of options within walking distance or some options inside the Gators gift shop.

The staff at this hotel is always outstanding. I stay here a few times a year and the friendliness and general warmth of everyone from the front desk staff to the valet is incomparable in the United States.

Best thing about the Jefferson is its staff, they have helpfulness and accommodation down to a fine art. Most appreciated amenity is the car service which makes getting to where you're going during your stay as easy as possible. The hotel restaurant was not inspiring, rather limited menu. All in all, though, a great stay in a great city.

Very nice first impression. The hotel has a wonderful old-world character, with beautiful decorations and details dating back 150 years. The rooms are huge, with walk-in closets, newly renovated bathrooms, and even a TV built into the bathroom mirror. Unfortunately, there were several issues that took away from the experience. Our room had essentially no view, looking directly at the next building about 10 feet away. There were also very bright, reflector-style lights outside, and because the blinds were broken, we could not make the room completely dark at night. This was quite annoying. There was also quite a bit of dust in hidden areas, such as the window sills and the top shelves of the walk-in closet. We were given a room next to the elevator, so we could hear the elevator dings and the elevator itself passing by. Fortunately, the noise was noticeable but not too extreme. For a five-star hotel, I found the food pricing to be very reasonable. However, I would appreciate better-quality ingredients and less reliance on pre-made or boxed products. I would be happy to pay more for food that reflects the quality and standards expected from a five-star property. The staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful. Overall, I think the hotel has tremendous potential, but it needs a stronger management team and more consistent attention to detail to make sure these deficiencies are addressed regularly. A beautiful property with a lot of character.

The staff were all outstanding. The LeMaire restaurant was outstanding as was the room service breakfast.

This is a first rate hotel with superb staff and facilities, including an excellent restaurant on site. Great location in downtown Richmond.

We enjoyed our stay at The Jefferson. The staff was very professional, helpful and accommodating. The room was wonderful and the champagne brunch was terrific. Would highly recommend
