First, the positives - our room was pretty clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were upgraded to a balcony room, and we loved having the view and access to the outside air. The ferry was convenient, and the bartenders at the lobby bar were friendly and accommodating. The unfortunate drawbacks - I cannot call this a “resort”. So many of the amenities and resort-like offerings just did not meet expectations. The pool is less than 4ft deep from one end to the other. For my 6+ foot husband, this just isn’t a comfortable pool. It was also fairly dirty. From the looks of the pictures and the website, it seemed this “resort” would have poolside dining and drink options, but that was far from what we experienced. Of the four days we spent time at the pool, the bar was open for one of those days, and it was only open from about noon until 5:30ish. Sure, there was rain for short periods of time some of the days, but it was nothing that warranted the pool bar being completed closed each day. We had the option to dry off, leave the gated area, walk into the cold building, order our drinks,

Had a great time! We had a balcony, river front view. They had activities for kids which were great! The only thing, that I would like to see would be a little store that was open in the evening. Somewhere you can go and buy snacks, drinks, etc… otherwise property was beautiful!

Have a lot of fun activities at the hotel. Close to the boat that takes you across the river.

This was our first trip to Savannah and we enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf and Spa Resort. Beautiful resort and the view from the grounds and especially was spectacular from our 16th floor balcony room!!! We really liked that the resort was located across the river away from the historic district. Everything about our room was great (one exception). The room was clean, comfortable king size bed, very quiet at night definitely a plus, blackout curtains, nice balcony with a small table and two chairs, refrigerator keep our beverages cold, housekeeping great. The one exception to our room was the rain shower head worked but not at full capacity needs to be fixed if possible or replaced. The complimentary ferry service that runs 7am - 10pm was great to ride across the river to get to the historic district. I captured a beautiful sunset while riding the ferry. Our first night it rained heavily so we stayed in and had dinner at the Aqua Star Restaurant…the food was delicious. The pool area was very nice, I sat on the side, put my feet in and listened to my music snd hubby relaxed on a lounger. We played a couple games of corn hole. Only exception were the under aged children playing in the hot tub. Overall, we would stay again.

Staff was amazing, pool needed a little scrubbing, there was an event over the weekend and a lot of the guests left trash everywhere around the pool, game lawn and fire pit, the cleaning staff was not on top of it for over 24 hours. Other than that the hotel was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

Would definitely stay again

Check in was late. We showed up at four and the room was not ready…. Very upsetting after a long day of travel. Then during our stay they messed up on our room charges for breakfast after we prepaid. They kept charging us for breakfast after we prepaid…. Also they advertise a poolside bar a grill which was not open during the peak of summer Saturday through essay was our stay and we didn’t see it open once. Then the bar next to the pool (inside) was advertised to be open by 4pm and wasn’t open until 5pm. We saw a toilet scrubber in the hall way left by the cleaning crew. And our room didn’t get serviced until almost 5pm each day. We had to special request clean towels each day. Super annoying especially when you are paying for such an elite hotel! The check in staff were not helpful with any of the hotel events! We had to read about them or find out from others staying there. We road the ferry across the river and I was shocked that the hotel didn’t restrict entry with key card to hotel guests only. We watched a mentally unstable homeless person walk in and make the hotel bathroom their home for the night. I did not feel safe at all!

We loved our stay! We enjoyed the pool with restaurant. We took the ferry across the river, which was a nice perk. Restaurant offered nice views. We enjoyed the s'mores with incredible view at night time. It felt like paradise!

No continental breakfast. And no coffee for as much money they are charging

The hotel is beautiful, our room was clean, comfortable, and overlooked the river. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were here at the same time as a group having a work conference so it was busy and there is only one bank of elevators to the rooms so we had to wait for elevators when we checked in, but it was not a major issue. The gym was well equipped and a short walk across the street. The free ferry rides to downtown were a plus. We did not get to check out the pool but it was large and had lots of seating. We would stay here again.

Really nice resort! Huge pool and nice poolside bar on the river! They have many bars and dining options! And the complimentary boat ride across the river to River Street is nice!
-
The staff was great, Maurice and Montrineice were very helpful which made the stay even better!!
-
Very expensive. Several hundred dollar difference in what Booking charged and the final payment that was due with all the extra hotel charges that were not included in the initial Booking price.

If you don’t get valet parking, they don’t allow you to use the carts to carry your luggage to your room FYI. They also automatically charge extra fees per day for more than two adults with out explanation. Example I had a room. In and out family from other rooms and they automatically charged my room the fees with out explanation. In deed I requested management and it was removed but the principal was you can’t just charge a room fees with out explaining why nor understanding what’s happening. Never again!

We took a much needed short weekend break at this property. Checkin was easy and the rooms are very nice. The bed was comfortable too. Our only issue was the shower did not drain well so we showered in ankle deep water. The upstairs dining room and bar were just okay. Long waits for drinks and more than an hour wait for food that was definitely overpriced and just so so. I would expect much better food for the pricing. The pool bar was phenomenal. Gina is a wonderful asset and the food was impeccable. Overall we will stay again however we would cross the river for a nice dinner in the future.
