The staff is really nice. The location is good. The bed was comfy.

The desk staff were 10/10 recommended Totally Awesome Bar and we had the best time!! This hotel is so stinking cute. Would go back! Also… free donuts :)

Cute concept, ok for a quick overnight stay. Shower had very little water pressure. No hair dryer in the room, so I had to go ask for one the next morning. Coffee pot in the room had not been cleaned in some time, the inside was full of mildew. The $25 parking fee was pretty high considering the cost of the room.

The property was an excellent location. We were able to walk to every activity that we wanted to participate in. The property was clean and the staff was friendly. We liked the retro vibe.

Helpful stuff

Its proximity to down town. Fantastic donuts and staff. This property was overpriced. Charging an additional $25.00 for parking was uncalled for. The bed was extremely uncomfortable.

The staff was wonderful, the person who checked us in was great I can’t remember their name. A little expensive but cheaper than others in the area

It was nice. Loved the 60s theme. The popcorn was nice as well as the RC cola and moon pies. Very dated. Needed fixing up. Paint and updating the bathroom would be good

Run-down old motel that happens to have good design and a cool old sign. It's too bad, everything sounds good on paper but the execution was terrible and prices are wild for what you get. $25 to park in an empty lot with random people milling around your car. Free Moon Pies and a couple of cans of soda don't make up for a gross old motel. On the plus side, very pet friendly including nice treats and dog park on the side of the property (although the gate didn't shut properly so what's the point?).

Our second time staying at the Thunderbird. It’s nothing crazy fancy, but it’s super kitschy, clean, comfy and the staff are super friendly. We will continue to stay here during future trips to Savannah as well. Highly recommend!

Room was clean but don’t forget this place is old. Coffee maker in room was pretty useless but they have coffee and donuts at the front desk every morning. Walking distance to main drag was easy. Public transit and Old Savannah Distillery are literally around the corner.

Location was decent and reasonably close to attractions The room was not cleaned well. There were numerous stray hairs on the sink and shower. The shower sink counter had numerous stains and moldy caulk. There was rust on the shelves and lamp. Door was not properly weather sealed. It had gapping where the outside was visible. A/C unit didn't have a remote and you had to adjust the vents by hand. Tv casting was hit or miss. Rooms desperately need updating. Online pictures are misleading compared to what you actually get for the money.

The Thunderbird Inn was awesome. I loved the complementary breakfast and popcorn that they offered all the staff was very courteous and I had a really late check-in and they were so accommodating excited to come back!
