The Mansion at Elfindale

Best hotel experience I’ve ever had, to be honest!

The room was nice, the staff was nice, and it was quiet and quaint.

Staff was very nice. Building and room were clean but ald. Only real complaint is that no breakfast on Saturday and no notice that they stopped offering it.

Absolutely loved the antique history of the house and the room was beautifully set up. The bed was comfortable and the staff was wonderful! Myra was able to tell us of the houses wonderful history

Nice room. Friendly and informative staff. It was nice to learn the history of the mansion.

Room was clean, but faded. The downstairs rooms were set up with plastic 3x6 tables and folding chairs. The property looked nothing like the photos at Hotels.com... certainly not a well-appointed B&B with an air of elegance. Breakfast pastries came straight out of a grocery store multipack with single serve bottles of juice in a fridge and Kcup coffee.

Cons: front desk unmanned 24/7. No breakfast Would stay again

Eat breakfast out rather than at the hotel.

Excellent very helpful staff. The furnishings, decor and building are like from a time capsule. Lots of charm and appeal. When I need lodging in Springfield, Mo., this is where I will stay.

Very unique and cool place to stay

The staff was very friendly and helpful. With the new mansion being over 100 years old we expected it would need some TLC.

Very unique stay

Very cool to stay in a place with old history.

Unique property in a very good way. Exceptionally friendly staff. Breakfast 830am on weekends was very good.

Amazing history

Dead bugs all in the room. The furnishings were old as well as the whole place. There was no one around and seemed deserted. I didn’t really feel safe staying there with just myself and my niece. Dimly lit.

What a fun place to stay. Built in the 1890s with beautiful Victorian architecture and charm. We enjoyed a walk around the gorgeous forest flanked lake. Tastefully has modern conveniences. Located near town. Highly recommend.

The age of the property and how beautiful the architecture is.

Unique mansion in downtown. Each room specifically themed for guests. Antique furniture and restored building.

It is a beautiful mansion, full of history. Myra and Samantha were so friendly, attentive and kind. The walk around the small lake was refreshing and there were many fuzzy little goslings walking around. AC was great and the water pressure in the bathroom was very good. We were in The Chapel room. Very spacious. My only semi complaint was the bed was too firm for me, but I slept well. The only noises I heard were the birds chirping outside our window every morning. I would stay there again!
