    Wife and I live in town and had some credits, so decided to have a change of scenery and find somewhere with a pool. This is in a decent part of town and had decent reviews and a good price so sounds great! We book and get there and the front desk employee is fine. They're friendly and gave us a room on the first floor, which was near the pool. The TV in the lobby was damaged, which from reading Google reviews has been like that for a bit. We get into our room and even though the whole hotel is non-smoking, the room is heavy with the smell of cigarettes. We tell the front desk, and they apologize and give us another room on the second floor. This one smells okay so we change and go down to the pool. My wife is able to handle maybe 20 minutes in the pool before the chlorine burns her eyes and she has to get out. She wound up with a rash later on. I was okay, but I decided to try the hot tub. I handled that for 2 minutes before my eyes and throat burned from the chlorine. We go back up to the room and turn the heat on because we're wet and cold and suddenly the room smells like someone peed on a honeycomb and shoved it in the HVAC. We packed up and went down to the lobby and checked out. We were there maybe an hour. I told the front desk about our woes and they said they'd have maintenance check. Looking on Google Reviews, it appears the owner verbally abused anyone who leaves a bad review. That's a red flag.

    The queen suite was great for our family. Breakfast was good. The hotel could be cleaned better. The hot tub was cold, and you might as well call it a cold tub with bubbles.

    Front desk girl was rude and due to fiance being in surgery at 10am, we called to verify res. on the drive there, and him not being present when checking in at 2 the girl wouldn't let me check in. Got very sick from luke warm hot tub also. Rm was JANKY!!!!

    Our room was clean but the desk chair seat was worn through. The second floor elevator landing was soaked and baseboards needed the dust edge cleaned. Perhaps think about a different flooring for the main elevator as you can't discern swimming pool drips and puddles of thoughtless guests from beverage spills. I stay at this property annually and will again.

    The refrigerator didn’t work so we had to get it replaced the first night. The shower curtain rod was barely hanging on the wall. The room was very musty. There were used bandaids and cotton balls behind the dresser, when it was pointed out to maintenance he just covered it back up with the dresser. The water fountain filter was bad and the water tasted like metal. The housekeeper entered the room even though the do not disturb door hanger was on the door.

    Did not like the pool hrs 8:00 is too early to close We stayed for 3 nights Asked twice to clean the room the bathroom and and did not receive any service

    The pool and hot tub were shocked instead of properly cleaned. They were so over chlorinated that my family got sick. Breakfast was meh, it would have been nice if they had bagels and English muffins instead of just toast. I enjoyed the self- serve yogurt and coffee/cappuccino machine. There was what appeared to be food or a dead bug on the wall above the dresser. It was a subpar experience and we will not be back or recommend this hotel.

    It’s your typical hotel nothing special nothing great about it. The person who checked us in you could tell he really didn’t want to be there, no smile no enthusiasm nothing. The breakfast was mediocre at best consisting of cold options and sausage eggs and potatoes. They kept running out of everything. The room was decent except our bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way and the door to the room would stick so you had to make sure it shut all the way. Not a terrible place but not somewhere I would stay again.
