Days Inn by Wyndham Wilkes Barre

I had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly. I can’t really say much about the breakfast because I only had coffee. One thing I can say is they need new remote controls for the tv’s. At least the one I had. The buttons were pretty worn out.

Did not eat breakfast at the Days Inn! At breakfast at the Ihop which was near-by! The toilet was too low...not as efficient for elderly people! Closet space was ridiculously small! An iron was not available in the room...had to be requested at the front desk!

Clean and well maintained Hard to find the entrance from the highway.

A bit hard to find a driveway to it but there were ways to get there from the Friendley’s and IHOP parking lots.

There really wasn’t much that I liked other than that the room was spacious and the breakfast was actually great and the staff was super friendly and it was clean and the location was decent because it was walking distance to a lot of amenities and it was just off the highway The room was very outdated and the lighting in the bathroom was extremely dingy and orange. It actually sparked a lot of PTSD for me. My kids thought it was really eerie using the bathroom thankfully we were only there for the one night and because it was tucked away from everything it was a bit creepy, but that’s about it.

Good Stay for the Cost

Exceptional

The whole place was very clean and comfortable. The room was well stocked and the breakfast was very nice. I forgot a cherished mug outside and called the hotel, she went outside and got it for me and put it up till I came back to get it. We will definitely stay here again next time.

It was quiet They charged me more than what was advertised and im pretty sure never refunded the security deposit.

Location and price. Unfortunately for the hotel they cannot control the entitled smokers that the non-smkoing facility designation does not apply to. As a former smoker I now understand how bad smokers and their property STINK. My eyes and nose ran and I sneezed. The bathroom was the worst smell of cigarettes. My guess the smoker thought the fan would take the smell away. Nose blind. Great room and bed, just too bad the nictine addicts lack awareness.

The beds were comfortable. The evening receptionist was very nice and greeted us with a smile each evening when we came back. The cleaning staff did a great job! The toilet. It was way too low to the floor! Also I couldn’t have the continental breakfast since I am diabetic and everything for breakfast had carbs. I miss the days of eggs and bacon!
