Wilkes-Barre Inn and Suites

I cannot think of a reason why anyone would rate it high. It is below all the hotels I stayed in USA

No drinking water was available, no ice machine or anything was abandoned. Breakfast items were bear minimum with no juice or water present in there. Never ever recommend this place to anyone.

Staff was pleasant

Our room (186) had flies inside and felt damp and humid throughout our stay. The entry door showed significant damage, as though someone had tried to force it open in the past. Instead of being properly repaired, it looked like it had simply been painted over. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly, and there was hair from a previous guest still on the floor, which was unacceptable. The complimentary breakfast was also very disappointing, with limited selection and poor quality. If you're considering staying here, I would recommend lowering your expectations or looking elsewhere. My wife described it as "the bottom of the barrel," and based on our experience, I have to agree.

Terrible ! I hope never get back again

They literally gave us a room that had water and cleaning supplies in the room. Disgusting. Dirty water and the beds were wet too. Unbelievable. WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE AND THE STAFF ARE WORSE!!!!

The breakfast was passable, the coffee was not. Neither the coffee in the breakfast room or what came out if the tiny machines in the rooms. The website was extremely misleading snoot what to expect from the hotel.

Ustedes tienen un engaño con ese hotel no me hospedé porque lo que ofrecen y las fotos no es lo que se ve está horrible no hay forma que un ser humano pueda hospedarse ahí y cuando me quejé con expidia no me quisieron devolver mi dinero por el anuncio engañoso de ese hotel es un chiquero un nido de ratas no se lo recomiendo a nadie

All around not good. Inside and outside this property is very old and really run down.

Advertised complimentary breakfast yet there was no breakfast.

Ran down and nasty alot of druggies and weird people the lobby is a good distance from room n ot what i expected

There were roaches. There were cigarette burns in the beds. The bathroom door didn’t even have a latch on it. The floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in months. The shower was so dirty I decided to leave early to come home to shower in my own home. The place was a dump. Definitely don’t recommend at all. Breakfast ends at 8… so I couldn’t say how the breakfast was.

Burn spots on the bed sheets and curtains Toilet wasn’t flushing, floor look like haven’t been cleaned in months!!

Had roaches pee on the toaster

I wish they would actually clean and maintain the rooms

Breakfast consisted of plain eggs, cereal, and self-made waffles. I was told that there had been some small sausages on a day prior to my stay. Eggs looked strange Roaches Lots of noise from the parking lot. Roaches Blinds did a poor job of preventing someone from looking in at a mirror with a full view of the bed. Did I mention roaches? Lots of them. Now I understand the policy of not issuing refunds after someone has seen their room.

We didn’t check in because of the unsafe and broken down conditions of this hotel. It looks nothing like the photos and should NOT be listed! The place looked like a drug house and was extremely dirty from the outside and we were afraid to leave our car to check in. DO NOT USE this hotel.
