Fairfield Inn & Suites Wilkes-Barre Scranton

Great hotel and staff. Bummed that the hot tub was out of order.

Room seemed clean, we came in late so didn’t use pool. There was a very strong smell of cannabis. The one negative was the walk to Fridays Restaurant through the parking lot at night. It wasn’t that well lit and people were hanging out in the parking lot around their cars.

The hotel was not well kept. My room smelled heavily of mold. My second night they woke us up at 3AM with the fire alarm due to a "carbon monoxide" leak and we had to stay outside the hotel for several hours. Checked out a night early and went home because the hotel was not great.

Need to accept people that live closer than 25 miles away we didn't even stay the told us no

If your a local resident Wilkes-Barre area they don't treat you like a guess because they don't rent to local residents. If they do rent to a local resident of Wilkes Barre you cannot use the pool or hot tub. .

Our room smelled like weed, and our blankets were wet. They had no pack and plays avaliable for our room. The pool was closed when we got there because of high chemicals. My son has really bad allergies so he had to use his inhaler multiple times and they couldn't change our room because they were sold out. Very disappointed and will not be staying again or recommending anyone to stay here.

The staff was very helpful, kind and patient with me when I had an issue with checking in. They showed compassion and accommodating. The room was very comfortable. The location is excellent, close to many shops.

Pool and hot tub area recently renovated - very nice

The room was very clean and well maintained. All staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate and plenty of tables for all. Maybe the best Fairfield that I’ve stayed in. Congrats to all.

I really appreciated the friendly staff, spacious rooms, the welcoming atmosphere and extra seating at the continental breakfast, and extended pool/hot tub hours. The spacious room with the large living space provided comfort for the family. This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in years! Book this for extreme comfort and value for your money.
