Motel 6 Wilkes Barre, PA - Arena

I enjoyed my stay at Motel 6. It was conveniently located near a shopping mall. And restaurants and gas stations.

No coffee pot in my room otherwise it was a great stay with newly renovated rooms! Very nice.

My biggest issue was the fact i had paid online. Apparently thats, "Not allowed after initial check in." The rate went from online at $59.82 to $98.89 paying in person, i was asked to leave "quietly and without incident in order to receive my $50 deposit back" The stay was fine and night shift Jose was absolutely amazing. I needed batteries for my remote. He was interactive, pleasant, and just the most wonderful person to converse with! Let's not forget Jose, best employee ever! Thank you Jose!

Very clean, no smoking and stayed no bedbugs bites lol. Will come again whenever in town.

No breakfast just coffee and the soda machines both were not operating Fix the vending machines and nothing close enough to walk to get a snack or drink. With a trailer in tow I just didn’t feel like driving around anymore

Best motel 6 I’ve stayed. They try to keep it clean despite the guests level. Jose and the other lady at the desk are amazing.

My room had roaches! I seen at least 10!

It smelled like cheap perfume and cigs, bed was decent, staff was great.

Close to interstate Saw some dead insects on the window sill of other rooms near where we parked, not in the room we stayed in. That probably started the critical thinking with my fellow travelers and really didn't give the place a fair chance.

I was afraid to get out of my car, and would have been uncomfortable staying there. Groups of men outside smoking, a homeless man sitting on the ground in the parking area - nope!!!!! I lost the money, but stayed elsewhere that night.

Staff was friendly, but the room was damp, floor boards were peeling off the sub floor, pretty positive the A/C unit was moldy giving off a poor smell, and one of the pillow cases was stained. We were only there for 6 hours to sleep but I would not have stayed any longer than that.

Location was alright lots stuff near it. Lister up bed to check for bedbugs just to be safe and there was a dirty rag under mattress and bottom half was all stained.

Clean. The customer service was excellent as well as housekeeping.

Brads were not comfortable.

Staff is great ?
