The hotel needs updating and we also saw a roach in the room

They don't have jetted tubs. Barely had hot water

The parking lot needs some attention. Very uncomfortable and unorganized for new guests. Very nice personnel and besides the parking I enjoyed the accommodations.

I think that this was a good place to stay for an evening. My room was clean and quiet. It seemed to be a true no-smoking room. The A/C worked well. The vending machines were functional and filled with good choices. The ice machine didn't work. The continental breakfast had a range of choices. There was no real limit on eating or time spent in the dining area. The hotel was close to the Hanes Mall, and there were many dining choices. I'm vegetarian, and I found a nice local tap room with veggie pizzas close to the hotel. These are not high-end amenities, but I think that the quality was quite good relative to the cost. I would say that the parking is not ideal in terms of the layout, and that was the main detraction from the stay.

Upon arrival, first room assignment was not cleaned. Disappointed with room assignment. We had poor view of the back of the building. Seems like there were several options available facing Silas Creek Parkway. Hot water for shower was poor. Difficult to get into and out of tub. Property was definitely outdated. Parking was sufficient because it appeared there were limited guests. Unable to get room serviced at 2:10 because due to limited rooms to clean, housekeeping staff had left for the day. But staff was kind enough to remove dirty towels and replace with clean ones and emptied the trash. We kept the room neat so limited service was needed. Elevator was a little scary. Staff was very friendly! Excellent breakfast dining options!

Good for 1 night

We had intended to use the pool but it was closed when we got there. The mini fridge in our room had a leg missing so every time you open the door it tried to fall on the floor. Walls and the back of the door in the bathroom looked like they had not been cleaned in a very long time.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. A+++ for their service especially coming in at night. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking and location is convenient. Breakfast was very good for the overall price of the room. The only things that I would say need some work…the property definitely needs some maintenance. There was a bit of a humid smell in the halls and room. Our room was facing the road and despite being on the 5th floor, throughout the night you could hear loud vehicles passing by. Lastly, our mini-fridge was really loud and it made it difficult to sleep as I am a light sleeper. Overall it was fine for a one night’s stay and again, I commend the staff for being lovely!

My stay at this hotel was cut shorter then what I originally booked. I was very unhappy with the condition of this hotel. The first room i was in was infested with ants, blood stains on the carpet, mold in the bathroom and room, spiders and webs in the room, you have to run the shower for about 40 mins inorder for the water to get warm, no hot water from the sink at all, the bed squeak, dead roaches, the ventilation in the room is very poor. The hotel do serve breakfast in the morning but the condition of the table chairs is very poor, dirty to be exact. After reporting the condition of the room to the front desk clerk Neil who immediately gave me the option of choosing another room to stay in. The condition of the other rooms was no better the the first room I was originally in. The following morning I spoke with the manager Lori who listened to me genuinely. I showed her pictures and videos as well, she offered to reimburse me for the first two nights but charged me for the other room. I did informer her that I was very uncomfortable at this hotel and will be checking out earlier then what I initially booked and she also adjusted my charge with checking out earlier then what i intended. I was so uncomfortable to the point i didnt rest properly or could just relax, i was just driving around exploring. Lori and Neil both explained the hotel is about to go under renovation being that the hotel have new owners. As per now the condition of this hotel is a health hazard.

Overall, it was a good stay. I found the staff to be very helpful and courteous. The room was clean. The breakfast was quite nice. I was there for it's proximity to the hospital across the street so I didn't use any of the extra amenities, so can't speak to that. I would recommend.
