Clean room and nice breakfast

Amazing customer service, great location.

We were on the second floor right next to construction. Half the hall was blocked off. Construction noise started at 8am. AC wouldn’t go below 75 during the day. Hallway was incredibly hot. Staff was nice but paying $200/night was not worth it. If we weren’t there for a soccer tournament we would’ve attempted to stay somewhere else. Everything in the area was sold out so no options.

Very clean and friendly staff

Pool was closed and we traveled with young kids that needed to get energy out before the next leg of our road trip. That was disappointing because we picked this hotel for the outdoor pool. Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly.

Staff was friendly and professional. Facility was very clean. I really appreciated having gluten free offerings for breakfast (even GF cookies available at check in). Most hotels have gross breakfast and terrible coffee but they had really good coffee and the breakfast was much higher quality than expected for most free hotel breakfasts (ex. Prepackaged breakfast sandwiches and egg white bites etc) so you can skip the Starbucks trip. Not a huge deal normally but since we came during a heat wave to visit colleges so it was really frustrating that the ice machine on our floor was broken. I didn’t try any other floors because I expected ice and water in the breakfast area on the way out but there wasn’t any there either. Also there are no water fountains/dispensers anywhere I could find. Not in the breakfast area or any hallway. They did give a small bottle of water at check in and they sell bottles of water but since it was literally 100 in the afternoon we wanted to fill large refillable bottles with ice and cold water to stay hydrated out in the heat. That was a bummer.

The staff is absolutely amazing! The entire building, inside and outside is always clean. Great location as well. Super close to anything you could possibly need. This is my number one hotel when I stay in Winston Salem.

Property was very clean and well taken care of. Front desk staff was exceptional. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Their breakfast could do with some upgrades. Very few items, not enough alternatives and they run out very quickly. A nice stay experience except for the breakfast buffet.

My dad travels a lot for work and mostly stays at Fairfield. My husband and I ended up taking his recommendation after an awful experience with Hyatt. The beds were super comfy, hotel was clean and the staff was so nice! It was a really great experience especially after a 10+ hour drive on the road. We 10/10 recommend!

We stayed here, as a business trip for me, but a chance to relax for my family. They were looking forward to the pool, but when we arrived, we were informed that it was out of order, unfortunately.

I always stay at this hotel when traveling to Winston-Salem. The location couldn’t be better with Hanes mall across the street as well as many many restaurants and more stores down Hanes Mall Blvd, including Costco which is handy for getting gas! The staff is awesome from the front desk to the dining rooms and cleaning staff! They were always friendly and asking me if I needed anything. But my favorite part is that the beds are really comfortable and I always get a good night sleep. I always enjoy the breakfast that has a lot of options to choose from including an oatmeal bar with lots of toppings and hot items like egg biscuits, quiche or scrambled eggs and sausage and waffles. They also had gluten free blueberry muffins a couple of the days I was there! I really love this place! Thank you Fairfield for another great stay! I look forward to my next stay with you!

Clean room

room was clean, and staff very friendly.

We were extremely disappointed that the pool was closed. We were there with three young children and would have made other arrangements if we’d known they would not be able to swim. They had been looking forward to it all day. Whenever a pool is closed, guests with reservations should be notified in advance and given the option for a refund.

Good location MOLD ALL IN THE BATHROOM ON THE CEILING! PLUS THEY CHARGED EXTRA $20 FOR 2 ADULT WOMEN/SISTER WHO WERE IN THE ROOM LESS THAN 12 HOURS...TRAVELING FOR SCHOOL. NOT HAPPY!
