Aliz Hotel Times Square

The hotel is lovely and quiet even though it is situated right in the heart of the tourist locations in New York. Room was small but lovely, with a great view. Staff were all really friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was perfect. We were given a poker chip to spend in the shop €25, and a voucher for 2 welcome drinks in the lobby bar which was a lovely touch and unexpected. I was worried about long delays for the elevators after reading other reviews but we didn’t ever have to wait more than a few minutes and didn’t find it a problem.

Located close to Times Square, lovely air-conditioned room, across the road from Port Authority Subway station. The hotel left lovely balloons and a Happy birthday banner in the room for my birthday! $25 dollar credit and welcome drinks given on arrival which was a lovely touch. Staff were very helpful and they stored our bags the morning we checked out for a few hours. A great hotel to stay if wanting to see the sights around the city yet quiet enough to get a good nights sleep on the comfortable bed! Breakfast options could have been better.

The wiev and location most of the staff was rude and not helpful. we got information when we booked the hotel that the breakfast was included. we showed the information to the staff and they just said sorry must been a mistake. The breakfast cost was 31 dollar.

The hotel is in a great location, especially if you want to be close to all the action in Times Square. It was convenient for getting around and exploring New York City. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent and didn’t work properly all the time, which was frustrating during our stay. The elevators were probably the biggest issue. With the number of guests staying at the hotel and the number of floors, getting an elevator up or down could be a pretty annoying experience. There were often waits, and using the elevators during busy times was not ideal.

Friendly staff, I will say very strong smell of some febreeze or cologne when you first walk in. The elevator is a bit small and slow, so if there are a lot of people waiting you will be waiting for a few minutes. It’s close to Times Square but not directly in Times Square which is nice. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean and nice. You get a free drink voucher and a chip worth 25 dollars to spend

The staff was excellent. Extremely kind and helpful from check in to check out. The room was a decent size and was very clean. I did not take advantage of the convenience store they had there near the lobby but it was well stocked for guests that needed something quick. The hotel location was close to many great restaurants and Times Square. I would definitely recommend this location and will probably stay there when I visit NYC again.

My only complaint was that they offered early check-in as a paid upgrade which we choose b/c my husband is recovering from surgery and was going to rest while we explored. Even though I confirmed with hotel that we could check in as early as 7am having paid, the room wasn't ready when we got there at 11am. He didn't get in until 12:45pm Earlyish check- is usually a(free) courtesy; posing it as an upgrade gave the impression they'd garuntee a room was ready. We're only coming in from Nassau, we would have planned differently. I guess the hotel should have clarified that it wasn't garunteed. The staff did make it right though They pro-rated the what we paid for early check-in and then had gave us drink tickets for the lobby bar which they didn't have to do(We weren't making a stink or anything). Overall, I would strongly recommend the place but wouldn't count on the offered upgrades.

Rooms were ok. Property welcomes you with a coin with credit for breakfast and 2 welcome cocktail, we waited in till last day to redeem them, not what we expected! employee was very hungry about us using the tickets not welcoming at all very disappointed property really need to train employees with proper standards on how to treat a guest or just don’t give up tickets to any guests, to avoid being mistreated by employees.

Great experience, only minor issue was elevator wait times. Would stay again

The rooms are small.It is in a great location that's the only positive thing about it.The AC was leaking and finally after the 3rd night they gave us a new room.They only gave me 2 free drinks after they made me pack my stuff go down to the lobby and get a new room.It was in the middle of the night.I already had confirmed with staff members if the problem was fixed and they assured me it was.Some items of my daughter got wet and just morning all of our items to a new room while were in pjs was very uncomfortable.

Clean room nice staff pretty noisy. Within walking distance of many attractions etc..

Location was great staff friendly and helpful Food offering was not great. Our accommodation included the breakfast, which was very limited and I'd have preferred not to have had it. The only other food offering was a burger. The rooms are small but adequate.
